I have added you to the spreadsheet. Is your PD current?

Please create a timeline. It helps others and the data on VJ.

LJSant, when you go on the ceac page (ceac.state.gov) the bottom option is "Check your visa application status".

You'll have to put your case number and a window will pop up and that's how you see if there were/are any updates on your case.

And I just did that and I just noticed that my status changed from "At NVC" to "Ready". Yaaay! Well, my interview is a month away but I'm glad that at least they have my documents :)

Amazing!!! Congratulations. :-)

Does that make me your good luck charm???

Means they are working on your case. Everytime they update your case the date changes. You should be hearing about an interview soon. Did you get medical already?

I got a question...

How early can I have my medical done? Do I have to get a confirmation from the embassy that they have gotten my package from the NVC and confirmed the interview date first?

Or I should just go with only my p4 e-mail I got?

I can't decide between laughing or crying so I'll do both.

Hubby was approved at his interview this morning.

I'm completely delusional and hysterical cause I haven't slept so I'll be back later with details.

Thank you guys soooo much for all the help and support during this process. When I started it seemed like soooo much but now that I'm done it was so simple with such knowledgable people to turn to.

Big Congrats to you and hubby!

Slec medical Manila

My wife the beneficiary is asked to go for sputum test nxt week for 3 days, she is undergoing dialysis for kidney failure 3x a week, this further test will really be hard for her since she lives in pampanga and having her dialysis there. Is that even fair? Theyve seen abnormalities on her xrays which is totally expected since shes on hemodialysis and put her on sputum test. Is there a way to have this waived? Dialysis patients are weak and so are their immune system, being around the clinic is not good for her. Any suggestions will be a great help! Thank you!

Thanks dwheels. You've always been such a wonderful person. Please, you didn't say anything about my big 50 pages wedding photo book. Will I be allowed to go in with it? What if VO ask for photos how do I pass it on? I keep cracking my head on whether to leave it and make another photo album. I will also print more photos before and after wedding to add it. Sorry, for too much questions. I don't want to miss anything. Please kindly advise.

You know how it is in 9ja o. People come there with suitcases full and its allowed. An album 30 lbs (Yes I had a friend bring hers) its all good. Just make sure its an album with easy access to take pics out if they ask.

Just bring it. Originas they want to see if asked for and this truly is everyone's time at embassy to show all your creative artwork and things

Just remember you will have from 5 to 20 minutes. So I pray your I-130 Petition package or you side-loaded at NVC has all they need. And all you are doing is bringing extra evidence. An interview is never the time to TRY to submit new evidence. This is why we say front-load (at USCIS) and/or side-load (at NVC)

Bring what you have but know they aren't going to be pouring through 10 tons of pics. They already have all they need.

Highlight the visits. i.e., "Here's a pic on her first visit and our wedding where she stayed 2 weeks.....", "Here's the second she stayed 2 weeks...." blah blah blah. And here's her Visa stamps showing her coming and going. You get! :goofy:
