Oh ok, if that comes up then I think that is a pretty good response to give. I don't think it would hurt to take some document showing the join account you two have.

Make sense about the phone calls. Sounds good about the pictures.

I do think what you have will be sufficient. Only other thing that comes to mind is if your husband gave your any cards, wrote letters etc.

You are welcome. I am glad to see that you are almost done with this process especially after what you went through at the NVC.

They did an update on our case this past Monday but we are still in AP. Not sure what they are doing behind the scenes. I do need them to issue the visa though. Since they interview there has been two updates to our case but we are still in AP.

Well we wrote letters to each other in the form of emails. So we have loads and loads of those.

Also, can you not call the embassy and ask them what's going on or just get an update?

You will be in my prayers Shams. I really do hope your visa gets issued super soon and you get reunited with your spouse before this year ends. God be good to everyone waiting for their visas.

ever since I started this process that thread has been going. I have no idea when they started it but doubt they will stop. not sure what triggered automatic AP for that country but boy do they wait a long time to get out of there! I believe that thread has been going on for years hence that thread is the third one and already at 151 pages so maybe that country has always had automatic AP no idea

I will be having my interview this Sunday at USEM Abu Dhabi, and I cant help but get paranoid from reading all the horror stories which is stressing my husband also!! Prayers from you guys will be greatly appreciated! God bless us all!!

Nah, there were not too much reviews written about the USEM Abu Dhabi but most of them are positive, and got very low harassment rating. I'm just getting antsy!!?

On the subject of automatic AP countries, from what I'm hearing the past few days on CNN, sometime in the near future it's going to become substantially more difficult for applicants from "high risk" countries to get a visa, and all of them may become automatic AP countries. The wording I heard was, "staunchly vigorous and lengthly process".

Under normal circumstances I would be more proactive in inquiring what is going on with the case. I think because we messed up, I haven't been as vocal with checking in with them.

Thank you for keeping us in mind. We are eager for this to be over.

Did they say which countries would that be? Unless they have been backed up by facts, I don't think CNN would name " high - risk" countries!!
