Well, my wife had her interview in Manila today. She has been approved! Yay! Although, she needs to submit a CENOMAR certification before the embassy will issue her visa. Hopefully that won't take too long. Maybe two weeks from now she will have her visa...

Issued! The interview was on December 2nd, on the 5th SEAC status changed to Administrative Processing and today, on the 7th it says Issued. Now it's carved in stone finally and I am out of any doubt

I did do a lot of front loading. I even sent them a 25 page child art style book I made (which I let the kids color) that explained our whole story with pictures instead of words.

Hopefully she didn't get 221g. If she did, hopefully they will more quickly once she turns in the document.

If not 221g then that is a good thing.

congratulations!!! please share with me the fees that you paid at the consulate so I can know what im looking at when i have the interview in Santo Domingo ( paid 120and 325 at NVC) thank you

A CENOMAR certification? this is for unmarried person trying to get married, Do you mean a CEMAR from NSO? your on spousal visa right?

CallMeShams, Do the petitioner have to send a certified copy of there birth certificate to the interview with beneficiary

For case complete 11/17 they got a January date. Have you called NVC?

Need some help, how many days prior is best to schedule my medical before the interview date? Will they accept a medical that's done 1 month before?

You can do medical soon as you get interview letter. So yes a month ahead is your choice.

There's no fees to pay at embassy. You have paid everything at NVC. You may have a delivery of Visa charge you should check embassy website for that. and of course there's the Green card Production fee (Visa Fee) $165 you can pay after you receive Visa. You can pay before you arrive or after.

For your embassy: All Visas- To deliver visa: $11 USD

The petitioner does have to with a CR1/IR1 visa. I think this would only apply if the principal applicant was a parent or sibling.

See, there you go! It's always a good idea to CALL them! If you hadn't called, you'd still be stressing out, wondering when the supervisor review will end, not knowing it's already done! I hope you have an interview SOON :-)

Oh and I hey, my husband has his visa in hand! Last time I posted was last week, stressing over the wait for the visa to be ready for pick up. The visa was ready

how long it takes from ceas status ISSUED till visa ready to pick up and how u know its ready to pick up ... u r informed or u need to call or email somewhere

Hey guys.

My husband just called me saying that the embassy told him to come in tommorrow for an interview.

He hasnt done his medical or anything since he he didnt have an interview date before this.

What should we do
