Issued! The interview was on December 2nd, on the 5th SEAC status changed to Administrative Processing and today, on the 7th it says Issued. Now it's carved in stone finally and I am out of any doubt

I did do a lot of front loading. I even sent them a 25 page child art style book I made (which I let the kids color) that explained our whole story with pictures instead of words.

Recently there has been a lot of expedite requests approved. For us, 2 were denied.

For those who did their due diligence, seems they are getting their visa in just short of a week.

Our case was updated today but we are still in administrative processing. The last updated was on 11/25. Hopefully we will see a visa issuance soon.

Getting a 221g can really wreak havoc.

DS-261 reviewed over the phone:2015-09-17

Agent registration email: 2015-09-18

IV fee available: 2015-09-18

IV fee paid: 2015-09-22

IV fee showed paid: 2015-09-23 right before the end of the working day at NVC - at almost midnight EST.

AoS and IV package received: 2015-09-23

DS-260 filled out 2015-09-24

Now let's get some patience for 3 weeks and hope CC will come without any delays :luv:

Approved!!!

Social Security card arrived only after the visit to SS office, on 01/20

Green Card arrived: 2016-01-27

From NOA-1 to the interview - 141 days (4 months and 18 days)

just got off the phone and once again I talked to this really nice rep. Aubrey. To me, she seem like one of the nicest.

So she told us our case is no longer under supervisor review. and it's all set but still no Interview Date.

Let's see what the next few weeks will bring us

See, there you go! It's always a good idea to CALL them! If you hadn't called, you'd still be stressing out, wondering when the supervisor review will end, not knowing it's already done! I hope you have an interview SOON :-)

Oh and I hey, my husband has his visa in hand! Last time I posted was last week, stressing over the wait for the visa to be ready for pick up. The visa was ready

The longest wait period for an interview 181 days !! Hamdulillah :)

Middle East and Pakistan my friend. There's lot of fishy islamic activity down there. So embassy is not taking any chances with lots and lots of background checks especially considering the recent tragic events, so its good in a way that they are cautious of not letting any radicalised idiot in. That would affect him getting an interview?

I thought the backlog was due to processing cases from other countries. I am not too confident in that Embassy story when they say they are so busy. I have seen cases where they are not as busy as they claim to be.

Yes, that was amazingly fast. I have never been as lucky in anything! Hopefully, this is the sign I finally found Mr. Right.
