APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!! Hubby had his interview this morning at Lagos Embassy and was approved....we are so happy and excited, according to my husband the interview went quick (2mins) he was asked a few questions. He also mentioned that the CO stated that the way I packed the documents was exceptional. My husband was asked the following and told to pick his visa up in 2weeks. He did mention that the wait was very long his interview was scheduled for 8am but didn’t get interviewed until after 1pm

Who petitioned for you?

What does your wife do?

Where and what did you wife study in college?

What type of wedding did you do?

How many siblings does your wife have?

How many siblings before her?

How many boys and girls?

She asked for the original birth certificate and police clearance and told my husband that he is approved.

Hubby stated the lady was very nice and didn’t even ask to see pictures or any of our correspondences.

Sorry I am late to the party. Congratulations. I am so happy for you. woooo whooo LAGOS you dey did good o!! :joy::goofy:

Our interview was November 18th and our case changed to "Issued" on November 22nd, but we're still waiting for my husband's passport. Is this normal? The traveldocs site still says there's no status on his passport. It's supposed to change to "Origination scan" when it's sent out and then to "Ready for pick up". I'm becoming worried.

I had heard like some other embassies the actual printing of Visas is still backlogged and Egypt is one of them. Soon it should happen.

Someone on here had their IV interview for IR1/CR1 scheduled on 12/2/15 for 1/25/16. Their Case Complete was 11/25/15. My wife's Case Compete for her IR1/CR1 was 10/14/15, but no interview has been scheduled as of last night. I thought the NVC goes strictly by Case Complete. This is for Embassy Beirut and the other person's case is not expedited. NVC says I should wait for the interview to be scheduled. Should I be concerned? Thanks to all for reading.

We are in the same boat as you. Cc 23 October. No interview for us even though CCs after ours from the same embassy have had theirs scheduled already. NVCs messages to us is same as it is to you. We are gearing to get senator involved now. Not sure what else to do. Two interview schedules have passed us by.

1NOA: 27th Feb. 2015

USCIS approval: 17th July 2015

Scan Date NVC: 28th Sept. 2015

CC NVC: 23rd Oct. 2015

Some sort of additional processing/ sup. review/ they-don't-know-what-it-is-and-there-is-no-timeline: 12th Nov. 2015

Interview scheduled on 28th Dec. 2015

Interview Date: 1st Feb. 2016

That is strange. Did you request a change in embassy locations or anything else? I did request a change in embassy locations (after case complete and before interview was scheduled) and it was approved. A new case number was issued 10/27/15. I don't know if that could've affected our case in the queue, but maybe the case is somehow 'stuck.' If no interview is scheduled in 3 weeks, I'll call the NVC and request to speak with a supervisor. I think it'll be quicker to try that first before getting a senator involved.

There was something, but nothing after the case complete. Just like you, we too keep thinking that what if it is something we did that triggered this delay. But I am sure that isn't the case. We have tried and failed at least eight times to get hold of a supervisor. Seems no one is available and all too busy to talk to us. I have never felt so helpless. Hehe

I hope you can get somewhere with senator's office. My senator's office has helped our case, but we had to follow up with them. They didn't just call/email us the results.

CallMeShams, did you have to go to medical with medical form, if so were do you down load it from.

The Embassy sent the form to us. The NVC should send that form to you when they send the interview e-mail. See here: http://kingston.usembassy.gov/mobile/medicalexams.html

I think the form can be found here: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjzoIjmpsLJAhUOzGMKHbMKBk8QFggjMAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fkingston.usembassy.gov%2Fuploads%2Fimages%2FmRCTb8JshWslw2qIZMWA-g%2FMedical_History_Form_08-2005.doc&usg=AFQjCNFVHuyZBVFs3nT9LY1_A1wTQ8-z-Q&sig2=8QdhIeKAeiZcwmRTBkE-vw

For those who will be having interviews, I can only say please learn from our snafu and please check your documents before you got to your interview so that you have the original of the documents they ask for.

With that being said, the last update on our case was on 11/25. The administrative processing is ongoing. Getting a 221g can really really, slow things up, even if you send it in shortly after the interview.

Congratulations for those who have their things in order.
