Hello everyone

any idea when will they start scheduling IL for F2A category..

Usually for most embassy its same time they scheduling the other visa category. Pakistan isn't much of a wait. So hang in there.

Issued! The interview was on December 2nd, on the 5th SEAC status changed to Administrative Processing and today, on the 7th it says Issued. Now it's carved in stone finally and I am out of any doubt

I did do a lot of front loading. I even sent them a 25 page child art style book I made (which I let the kids color) that explained our whole story with pictures instead of words.

Sup folks... Just called the NVC and interview has been scheduled for January...

CC: Nov 30
Interview date: Jan 28th, 8 am.

I guess it's now the waiting game..... :)

Hi everyone, just wanted to ask if it is ok to call NVC and check if i might have been scheduled for an interview? I believe my CC was last week of November because I received the CC email just yesterday Dec. 1 (no exact date of CC because I didn't call NVC as per my immig lawyer's advice). I'm just wondering because it might be too soon for me to call and ask for an interview date..

You can always call. One indicator is look at the spreadsheet see all the ones before you. I try my best to keep people posted as what embassies are scheduling.

But feel free to call can't hurt.

It has been over 40 days since the cc and no interview in sight for us, even as they schedule for others from Mumbai consulate. Weird doesn't suffice.

1NOA: 27th Feb. 2015

USCIS approval: 17th July 2015

Scan Date NVC: 28th Sept. 2015

CC NVC: 23rd Oct. 2015

Some sort of additional processing/ sup. review/ they-don't-know-what-it-is-and-there-is-no-timeline: 12th Nov. 2015

Interview scheduled on 28th Dec. 2015

Interview Date: 1st Feb. 2016

Yes! I'm relieved! I hope we get the P4 soon! Might as well start with the Police clearance and sorting out original documents to bring for the interview.
