Hi guys!

I had my interview yesterday in Moscow. I was approved! Very happy this process is almost finished at this point.

But I have a problem. I was so focused on general questions during the interview and I completely forgot to tell a consular that my husband was moving. So they won't have my new address for my Green card.

Does anybody know what I should do? Contact the Embassy immediatelly or USCIS or give a new address to the officer at POE entering the US?

Really appreciate any help

Got my cc one week ago, called earlier today and found out the interview was scheduled for January 12 in the early morning. I was really hoping for a December date, but I guess this will work. My wife is doing her medical tomorrow. It will be nice to get this over with.

Congrats!!! I think you should be able to mention it to the officer at the POE. Maybe dwheels can clarify this for you? :)

Sorry !!

I thought that since you got case complete at the NVC means everything is ok!

Is the income doesn't meet with the required limit?

Well the Consular really did not care about my current income, or my employer's letter...he really cared about last year's taxes. I have been at my current job for a year now and make enough. (My last year's taxes were 1000 shy of the poverty line...)

So my advice to everyone is to have a plan b!!
Talk to anyone who is willing to be a joint sponsor and have that handy for the interview, JUST IN CASE (with the required 1040's, W2's, Proof of employment, proof of citizenship, and a signed I-864 from the joint sponsor). You never know...

Well the green card is weeks away. Has your husband changed his address on uscis.gov? Also when you arrive at POE you tell the CBP(Immigration officer) your new address.

Also when you pay your $165 Green Card production fee you also will be verifying the address the card goes too. So many places to check. No need to contact the embassy they have nothing to do with it.

By the way congratulations on your approval. Mercies Journeys to you and Welcome to America.
