Sounds like someone trying to justify buying affection and respect.

Maybe if he wasn't such a brat, his dad wouldn't have needed to take such a hard line. I give his dad credit for realizing his son needed a tougher approach and being consistent with that, but not all kids do.

Some kids can figure it all out without getting locked in the closet or getting beat with a TV guide.

Woman Flips Out Over All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Rule, Police Say All-you-can-eat apparently doesn't mean feed your friends as well.

n argument over the meaning of all-you-can-eat has led to assault charges for a woman in suburban Chicago.

Police in Oak Lawn, Illinois, said 27-year-old Natasha West flipped out at a Denny's restaurant after the waitress told her she couldn't share her $4 all-you-can-eat flapjacks with the other people at the table, according to The Smoking Gun.

Police said West became "irate" and started swearing and swinging her fists at the server, according to NBC Chicago.

None of the blows landed on the waitress, according to police, but West and her party allegedly then left the restaurant without paying, only to stop to kick a door several times while on her way out, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The restaurant manager called police, who tracked down West and her dinner crew in a car a short time later. They were taken back to the Denny's where restaurant employees positively identified them.

One of West's friends paid for the food. West was arrested and charged with assault and damage to property, WGN-TV reports.

The liberal elite ... know that the people simply cannot be trusted; that they are incapable of just and fair self-government; that left to their own devices, their society will be racist, sexist, homophobic, and inequitable -- and the liberal elite know how to fix things. They are going to help us live the good and just life, even if they have to lie to us and force us to do it. And they detest those who stand in their way."

It's because the older generation feels utterly jealous and like a bunch of losers when some young kid comes up with a start up and makes millions in the process.

They feel like they are losing their privilege of running the world, when the younger crowd comes in with a different vision as to what the future should hold, just like we did. They complain when our youth act like a bunch of entitled brats and they complain when they voice their opinion on issues like politics and racism; and take to the streets with movements like BLM or OWS.

It's basically because they must feel very bad and sorry for themselves on the prospect of finding themselves dependent on a check from SSA - that they will resent but gladly and eagerly accept - to complement what little is left of their life-savings, with what Reganomics and more recently Bush mad-o-nomics.

Ultimately, it's because they can't blame Obama for all the bad decisions they made along their lives, so why not find a scapegoat on today's youth?

My parents grew up listening to Elvis, their parents (my grandparents) thought he was the devil. In turn when my parents caught me listening KISS music, they thought I was a satan worshiper. I have been known to think that anyone who listens to rap music is missing a few brain cells and will never amount to anything. But I am wrong, just like my parents and grandparents were wrong.

This sorta thing happens with every generation. Everyone thinks the younger generation is doing it all wrong and we're doomed for self destruction, yet somehow we always pull through.

But rap music truly is the worst. :content:

Nah, I think it's just because it's all new. And of course the generation before had it right. It's human nature to reject change.

Keep telling yourself that and eventually you'll convince yourself it's true.
