If he is not normal and in any kind of emergency call 911. If you can take and set the boundaries in your relationship do it, if this is the first time it happened. Of course I believe that, among spouse none of you must be abuse or violent, considering aggressive human behaviour people do mistakes. Let him know you want to talk about it. Solve the issue because giving up relationship is easiest thing to build up it needs years.

Again if you have any kind of thread contact 911 and shift to the shelter. Vj will need your detail like in which state you are right now and your visa status for you to advice properly. Hope everything gets better.

Please folks NEVER suggest to the victim to stay or to seat and talk about the abuse with the abuser,the right thing to do is to tell the victim to call the police and to seek a safe place to stay! Domestic violence is not a mistake because of "agressive human behavior", it's a CRIME!

Doesnt matter to me honestly. People choose their own lives. If someone is abusive you have a choice to stay or leave. Leaving is not easy. But if you're unhappy only YOU can change that.

We only ever hear one side of a story anyhow. It is what it is.

Thanks , i wish you all the best , looking for a job is a very hard process , i admit that i got a lot of entry level positions in a few months after my US entry , but expecting a high and a good job lead me to this terrible situation, not being able to find a job lead me to have a very bad life style, i do not do anything, no sport, no TV, no friends, i just apply for jobs and watch 0 result, and this is frustrating , making me feel tired even before i start any job, i need to change my life as a quick as a possible

Boiler, you're probably referring to this post, in which OP said that she developed a very bad life style but if you read closely, you'll see that what she's describing is depression and not a bad life style like doing drugs, drinking, etc. It's hard not to get depressed when you have no support system and the one person you do know, your husband, is the person pushing you even deeper into depression. I know there are two sides to every story and that OP probably has her faults too, but that doesn't excuse her husband's abusive behavior. She is only responsible for what she does, and he is responsible for his actions. No matter what she said or did doesn't make it OK for him to slap her and rip her shirt.
