To who ever manages this sites and to everyone that has helped us, I just want to say the biggest heartfelt thank you!!! My wife has her greencard now and we can breathe easy. We had a bit of a complex case to getting her her I-29F, K-1, and finally greencard. The guides in the forum worked miraculously and when they didn't speak to very specific issues we had, then I'd ask on the forum and people always commented and saved the day. It took us just over a year from me asking her to marry me to getting her green card. Partially because I made a couple of minor mistakes but mostly because the NVC and USCIS made bigger mistakes. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the help I got here.

P.S. On form I-485, you can only put one address. If you have seperate mailing and residential addresses then put your mailing there. This caused us a big hassle.

- Moved from K-1 Process to AOS From Family Progress reports as OP has finally completed AOS and his wife is now an LPR. Yay! -

:joy: Congratulations on your wife's Green Card! :joy::dance:

Now you get to take a break from USCIS until it's time for ROC :)

Eighteen years in the US and I still don't understand Velveeta, TV ads for prescription drugs, only getting 2 weeks paid vacation, or why anyone believes anything they see on Fox "News".

I absolutely, heartily agree with Farron! I am mired in an unfair refiling dilemma (the NVC document was updated/changed mid-process so we unknowingly sent in an old form), and I find myself once again here looking for help. I've been more of a lurker, because nearly all of my questions have been answered by these very thorough forums and resources. A huge, huge thanks to those members who have the energy to be active and helpful to those of us who prefer simply to lurk. I'd be lost without Visajourney.com.

I don't even know what an ROC is yet. I maintain my sanity by not looking too far ahead, aka looking too deep into the void lol

I am also a lurker! I don't feel confident to give any advice to people's questions. So I just read what people say and ask if my questions aren't answered. I can't imagine what I would've had to pay if I was lazy and got a lawyer
