If anyone can give their 2 cents about this it'd be appreciated.. My girlfriend basically applied for two visas at the same time. There was the H1B visa, which has been under administrative processing, and our K1 fiance visa. And the H1B still visa is processing at the US embassy in China. Is the fact that there is already one visa being processed reason to cause any delays or rejection for the K1's second NOA?

NOA 1 received Dec 21st.

NOA 2... where you at?

i really nor sure, but i know we can only have one type of visa

Ok, 1 visa. Thank you.

Anyone else?

I have a friend who applied for spouse visa and while her application is under processing, she also applied for B1 visa and she get denied as the Consul told her that she cannot apply for two visa at one time.

Hey thanks for the reply. I think we should cancel the H1B visa then. Although the USCIS approved her H1B visa already, and now it is with the Embassy in China undergoing administrative processing. Any ideas how to go about cancelling the H1B?

I have been so busy with my two jobs and this process and flying back and forth to the Dominican Republic that I have ignored everyone. Sorry!!! Congratulations to everyone with your approvals and case numbers. Exciting times ahead! I sent my paperwork November 30, accepted December 3, Approved January 8, Interview was 2/16 and we got approved. (YAYYY) Picking up his visa today and I bought his plane ticket for Saturday- so we are pretty pumped about how fast everything went for us. Our case was out of the Dominican Republic, so if anyone has any questions about any of that process, feel free to ask.

I did go to the interview, more so just to support my better half than because I felt like it was necessary. Honestly they never really talked to me. It was alot of waiting. Get there early, despite what they tell you, you wait in line and get a number, and then we went up to a window to give paperwork, sat back down, got called back up to verify address and phone number (his)- and then sat down-and then the "interview" was super casual. We had a nice banter going, they asked him where we met, how i met his son and what he thought, if he had any problems with the law, they joked about staying right with the Lord to go to heaven, how did we communicate, and why did we want to wait a few months to bring his kid over....it really just seemed like she was just browsing through paperwork having a casual conversation and then she looked up and smiled and said congratulations and gave us a piece of paper with info on what to do from there and that was it. Took about 3 hours. Everybody was really super nice. This waiting for his visa thing to be ready is hard too. I have no patience. It's for real atleast 10 days to wait for the visa to be ready. Business days.

Okay guys ran into some problems. Would tax returns, w2, 1099 suffice without the the transcript. I still have an unresolved identity theft issues with IRS and unable to get transcript.

I used my 1040 tax, w2 and 1099 plus a few of pay stub plus a letter of employment . Works for me. Just double check with someone from your embassy.
