Yes its time to start calling, emailing and sending inquiring notes. Its time to rattle some cages.

1. Calling USCIS again today, the reps is giving me the same answer, they look up the normal processing time for California they say it 5 month then do the math from the date of NOA1 and tell me i should wait until late May to contact them again if i haven't received anything by then.

2. tried to email CSC, got an auto response stating that. I must USCIS first and they should assign a inquiry number, if not request e-mail will not be return.

where should we call, email now ?

We found that overwhelming them with pictures and text logs left them with nothing to question. My fiancé went to window 5 and was finished in 5 minutes.

In Thailand now. We got the police report finished yesterday. I tried to get the expedited 1500b version but they said there is no such thing......They said by April 1st, it will arrive. %#^&@*@(. Hopefully some kind of action will come while I'm over here.

I got the single paper translation and going to me girls hometown to get a birth certificate copy Monday.

@wong and dave2u. I'm in the same boat. NOA1 date 12/24 and nadda. I tried Greenbaums suggestions and got the same results you guys did...no where.

We've gotten more good news as our file has now left the NVC and is on its way to the London embassy, medical all booked, and police certificate ordered--almost at the home stretch! Just need to polish off the affidavit of support and send it over. There's finally a light at the "end" of this tunnel.

I ordered my ACRO police certificate on 12 Feb at 22:25pm GMT and it arrived through my post box at 9:30am this morning. So, it's roughly taking 7/8 days if you pay the £45. I don't think the £80 option would be used much but maybe if you had your medical booked for the same week or something to that effect.

So excited for you! Please keep updating on this forum with how it all goes! Did you say you need the original of NOA2 at the interview or just a copy?

Yup I looked at the Jan filers thread and some early jan filers aready received their NOA2, just make me worry that our application was lost somewhere.

Original NOA2 for the interview to be on the safe side without staples or whole punches because you don't want to accidentally cut anything off so I put a copy in the 'packet' I gave my fiance. I've seen differing opinions on this but I always say having the original on the side in a plastic folder of some kind is always best. That way if they see the copy and ask if you have the original, it's right there.

Yeah Texas is like death for us K-1 filers. The NVC has been so smooth and less stressful--except for the moment where you bite your nails worrying about whether or not you'll end up in administrative processing and then a huge sigh of relief when you see they've forwarded your case. If your I-129F was organized and your case is pretty straight forward, you're more than likely not going to go in AP and they'll send it out within 2-4 days after your case number is set. I still stayed on top of the NVC and called everyday starting the 8th/9th business day after the NOA2 was approved.

by now we should have heard something we were just the bad kids in class or something being held after school or the same person has a couple of our filres and they went on vacations and left them on the desk
