Mr. Greenbaum

Please give me some tips contacting them.

1. I just tried to submit an inquiry i got the following message

Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time. Further information about recent processing times can be viewed on the uscis.gov webpage.

If you have other questions regarding your application or petition, contact USCIS Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833 (TTY).

2. When i contact USCIS. all they say was: CSC processing time is 5 months your case is still withing the normal processing time..... from now till then you should received a notice at anytime ...... good luck to you ...... After 5 months if you don't received anything please contact us back for further investigation ......

What can i ask to get more info from the reps ?

3. I remember seeing an contact email address for CSC, but now i can't find it. should I emai CSC directy?

Thank you, your advice's always appreciated

We've gotten more good news as our file has now left the NVC and is on its way to the London embassy, medical all booked, and police certificate ordered--almost at the home stretch! Just need to polish off the affidavit of support and send it over. There's finally a light at the "end" of this tunnel.

Amazing news, congratulations.

We have very similar situations New York - UK, December filers, you're slightly ahead of us so keenly stalking your time line. May come to you for advice :-)

The end is near for you, last stretch.

Thank you!! I think NY-UK is more common than we realize because out of all the other states I think we're the most alike. Feel free to stalk as much as you like! :D

Happy to help where I can and I'll make sure to update what I can! Speaking of which when my fiance scheduled his medical they asked for a list of items they require--supposedly some of these requests are new so I'm going to post them here for you so you get more of a heads up than we did!

You must bring the following for each person attending:

*Passport or UK Driving Licence (photocard not paper licence),

*4 X Identical Passport sized photo UK or US size (please note this has recently increased and may not be updated on the online medical packs),

*ACPO Police certificate (or a copy) dated
within 12 months
for anyone 16 years of age & over,

*Vaccination records- Please provide vaccination proof for the panel to look over on the day, to advise if any further vaccines are needed,

*Completed medical questionnaire (from the US Embassy link above). You must fill out your FULL UK address. Please also bring along a FULL intended US address.

*A Letter/Email from the embassy with your case number and the visa category confirmed,

*GP Reports covering any medical conditions, disabilities, prior serious illnesses you have been treated for or anything ongoing. If you are generally fit and well and do not have any of the above then you would not require a full medical history from your GP.

Make sure that you did not schedule your Medical too early, because you must provide them a copy of the Letter that is provided by the Embassy. Some Embassy's provide this in Packet 3, others in Packet 4 ( I believe london sends this letter with Packet 3, but i am unsure, others that are past this point will have better information), but it seems London usually delivers Packet 3 to the Beneficiary within about 4-5 days of receiving it from the NVC.

If your medical is scheduled too early, you won't have the documents required by the physician to perform the medical and submit the findings to the Embassy.

We scheduled it with enough time and for the UK the letter we need is sent with Packet 3 but they're known too sometimes accept a screenshot of the NVC website. This of course is a last minute resource, but we'll have the letter by next week which is what we intend to bring :)

So, each country sending differently? Some receiving letter from nvc in 3 packet another in 4th ?!

I've read to bring the hardcopy of the NOA2 and just to be on the safe side bring the original of the NOA1 as well. I have a copy in my fiance's packet but he also has the originals in a plastic sealed folder without any hold punches or staples as we'll need the NOA2 for the AOS. I also provided the the tracking print outs from when I sent the original packet to texas lockbox and a screenshot of the case file when it was sent to CSC.

Once we're at the NVC stage and everything is forwarded to different countries and embassies--each office has a slightly different way of doing things. I don't know much about how it works in the Ukraine, but you should reach out to others on the forum in the Ukraine portal to see if there's anything to expect. Also definitely read the US Embassy information that pertains to Ukraine on their website: http://ukraine.usembassy.gov/fiancee.html
