Looks like that's what is going on here. I'll find out tomorrow when I get to the post off to see if my petition was returned because of that.

My dumbass move. Even though I saw in the instructions who to write it out to, I still had a brain fart when I wrote out the check and wrote Dept. instead.

I'll keep you posted

Once you have your case approved, you can complete the DS-160. You don't have to wait for your case to be ready. Just bring the print out of the confirmation page with the bar code to your interview.

If that's the case, I can write out another check and send it back, yes?

Trust i write big and bubbly so I had to write to checks cause it didn't all fit. And I didn't want to abbreviate like it said not to do it. Just wait till you get it return at least that they will issue u a case number and send it with a new check. Good Luck! It's an easy fix!

Okay December filers as i was doing some investigation I have found so far 6 I-129F applications denied for December due to incorrect payment amount 1 for incorrect form. I'll definitely look into this more closely tomorrow. As its 2am in FL and I need to get some sleep!???

I'm pretty positive that that "incorrect payment amount" is actually abbreviated "Department" on the checks.

I see a case number that is 20 behind mine has (i-129F) Approved. Mine and all others that come up when I sear are still saying Case was received. Hopefully we start seeing more approvals soon. I am baffled at how this persons case moved so quickly. I sent my packet the day after thanksgiving.

June 10th, 2016: Mailed Package (AOS & EAD & AP via USPS Priority Mail)

​June 14h, 2016: Received delivery notification from UPS

​June 24th, 2016: Check was cashed

​June 27th, 2016: NOA-1 - E-Notification (email & text message) for AOS & AP

​July 1st, 2016: NOA-1 Hard Copy for AOS & AP

​July 7th, 2016: Rejected EAD for missing sign

​July 11th, 2016: Sent EAD application again

July 12th, 2016: Biometrics Invitation

​July 18th, 2016: NOA-1 Hard Copy for EAD

​July 20th, 2016: Biometrics Appointment Done :)

I am waiting on NOA2 as well. I am assuming the one that says it is approved only 20 case numbers behind mine means they have NOA2.

Good luck everyone! I feel some NOA2s coming soon and the NOA1s should start rolling in for those of you that don't already have them.

How do I go about downloading the USCIS the USCIS app? I'm on Android/Google play but can't find anything that looks USCIS related.

Hey not sure I have an iPhone so I just put USCIS but maybe Check on the website to see how to get it for an android

There is no official app on Android or iphone, but this one works very well and is the one i am using.

If it gets sent back for some reason, how long does that take?

They received it Dec 2nd. Still haven't cashed the check.

I'm thinking it's gotten sent back to me but it doesn't seem to be here yet.

Speedy approvals. Ive seen approvals in 12 days you might win the lottery

I sent it UPS overnight. It was signed by "Coltran" at the dock.

That's the last I heard of anything. I didn't receive anything from the USCIS. They haven't cashed the check.
