Two letters, one from the petitioner and one from the beneficiary, are required for the intent to marry within 90 days of arriving on US soil.

this stage start to driving me crazzy.. i;,m new here. our petition approved on Feb 8, my fiancee will call after Feb 20 .. he just jkeep saying to relax .. how to relax now haha

my question is do we need to send our doc to nvc? or he just need to send it to me? thanks any info will be appreciated :)

Call the NVC after 10-14 days of your I-129F approval and get your nvc case number. You dont have to send anything to NVC. Once they have reviewed all your documents they will forward it to USEM and the US consul will contact you or will send you the Packet 3.

Call the NVC after 10-14 days of your I-129F approval and get your nvc case number. You dont have to send anything to NVC. Once they have reviewed all your documents they will forward it to USEM and the US consul will contact you or will send you the Packet 3.

So good news, called NVC again today and got my case number! I just had a question, does anyone know how long we'll have to wait before the case number works in the CEAC status check? Or should it work immediately once the case number is assigned?

I'm sorry for silly question, but is it possible really to get deny on this visa?? We were trying to do a B1/2 for me to visit, but got refusal :(

Nevermind my question, figured it out myself! Was looking under the case status of nonimmigrant visas (since that's what the USCIS referred it as) but we're listed under the immigrant visa category on the drop down choices. Was able to pull up the status so feeling good now! :)

What are the Packet 3 and Packet 4 meaning?

Packet 3 - is a letter you will receive by Mail or E-Mail (country dependant) letting you know what actions and items you need to prepare and mail to the Embassy prior to being able to schedule your interview. Some countries don't have a Packet 3, but Most do.

Packet 4 - Is a list of things you need to prepare and bring with you to your interview (Medical, Police records, ect...)

You won't receive either of these until you have cleared NVC and your case has been forwarded to the Embassy in your country.

Packet 3 can be received very fast, or very slow. For example Bahrain has a track record of having Packet 3 delivered to the beneficiaries within only a few days, where as China takes approximately 1 month to deliver Packet 3.

well i have that question too haha, i did tried tourist visa, cos i was invited to my friend wedding in LA, and were planned to had sometimes together while i was there.. but it was denied.. only God and the interviewer knew why it was denied :content:

lets just do our best, and set all the docs we need and pray for the best

i am just wondering what could be going on i am looking on the case status and search and see so many i-129 filed after mine that are already approved do some countries approve faster or slower then the next i just dont get it why or what would be taking so long with mine

Did you get your 2nd NOA yet? I am still waiting.

Good advice.

May I suggest the following that was taken from my website http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa#!manila-process-usem/c95x

We recommend that you do three things to insure smooth processing of your documents. First, create a "dropbox", "google drive" or "just cloud" account for document storage. Dropbox is one of the easiest to use. They are free so take advantage of the opportunity. Once you have your cloud storage created then help your fiancé(e) learn how to log on and download or read documents from your cloud service. What's good about cloud storage during this process is that you can "drop" files, pictures and or scanned documents and your fiancé(e) will have access, almost immediately. Second item. Buy your fiancé(e) a 4GB thumb drive to store documents on. Now you have a no nonsense filing system which is safeguarding your documents. If any one system crashes you now have two others to access your documents from. Third item. Every single document you create, or receive during the visa process you put a copy in your cloud storage.

Super agree to these tips!

Im the beneficiary, i have a 16gb thumb drive and stored everything on it. And for back up copies, i emailed everything to myself and my fiancé just in case my files got corrupted or if ever i forgot my thumbdrive i still have access to my files to open in a computer shop thru my email.

And ofcourse, Keep Praying althroughout the process. ?????
