Once you have your case approved, you can complete the DS-160. You don't have to wait for your case to be ready. Just bring the print out of the confirmation page with the bar code to your interview.

I guess the profile we need to set up to schedule fingerprint and medical. So I guess I have to wait for case number, set up "the profile" and call to ask the question!

This is what rthe embassy website stays

2. You need to create your profile/electronic account at ww.ustraveldocs.com/do. After completing your profile, choosing a delivery location, and selecting the correct visa class, you will be directed to a confirmation page that lists the visa fee amount due. Please print this page and take it to Banco Popular Dominicano to pay your visa fee.

Got NOA2 Approval just a few minutes ago. I am scheduled to visit Punta Cana March 13. We were planning to have a Babymoon at an all adult resort as this is the latest my doctor recommends that I travel and I am due May 1st. Now I am really stressing about the Interview stuff and all the Zika virus warnings for pregnant women that include the Dominican Republic. I am hopeful he will have a visa before our baby is born (after being advised by many on here in November there was no chance) but uncertain what I should do about making any trips while pregnant. I do not want to chance denial simply because I am not there for the interview due the risk but I also do not want anything medically to happen to our baby.

    I also needed to send them my IRS Tax Transcripts for proof of meeting
    minimum income requirement.

  2 more FRE's on this date. We received the dreaded medical, go straight to
    the civil surgeon :(  Total cost of $366
    And the other one was for proof of continuing relationship. We sent in
    some pictures and our Ultrasound pictures :D

Don't worry! I'm here with you. NOA1 was 17 December 2015. I'm not sleeping at night because I'm that anxious. :( Good luck vibes to us all and congratulations for the new approvals :D

Our AOS journey

06/30/2016- We got married!! (L)

07/19/2016 - Sent AOS, EAD, AP documents in the post with 2 day priority USPS

07/28/2016 - Package delivered very late as was delayed somewhere in transit

08/09/2016 - Text and email notifications starting at 12.41am (texts came first and then email).

08/12/2016 - Get 3 NOA's in the post with the filing date 07/29/2016 and the NOA date 08/05/2016

08/19/2016 - Get biometrics appointment letter in the post. Scheduled for 08/29/2016 at 1:00pm

08/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment done - quick and easy!

10/13/2016 - EAD and AP approved!
10/27/2016 - EAD status updated to "Card Mailed To Me".
10/31/2016 - EAD/AP combo card received in mail.

02/04/2017 - I-485 case status goes straight to "Card is being Produced" (Approved without interview). 

02/06/2017 - I-485 case status changes to "Case Approved"

02/07/2017 - I-485 case status changes to "Card was Mailed to Me".

Hi everyone!! Our NOA1 was on 30 December, but still I'm checking everyday.

I wonder how they are cheking, because some received it these days who has NOA1 at 12.29.2015...but the 12.17.2015 hasn't..weird

Is it normal that we dont get any email from NVC that our case is in transit? I checked our case and it says "IN TRANSIT". But we dont get an emails from NVC that its already in transit. We signed up for email notifications amd text but we didnt get. Including NOA2 approval, no email notifications and text thats its approved.

July 9, 2016 - Application Sent to USCIS Chicago IL (AOS, EAD, AP)
July 11, 2016 - Package Delivered
July 12, 2016 - EAD & AP case was received
July 22, 2016 - I-485 Fingerprint Fee was received
July 26, 2016 - Electronic text & email received at 12:20midnight
July 26, 2016 - Check has been cashed out at 4:00am
July 29, 2016 - AOS, EAD & AP NOA1s hardcopy received
August 05, 2016 - Biometric Appointment Letter received (it was sent on 2nd Aug)
August 15, 2016 - Biometric Successfully Done within 20 minutes at Southpoint Jacksonville
September 21, 2016 - EAD and AP APPROVED via USCIS case status (Sept. 21 in the morning, EAD status was "NEW CARD BEING PRODUCED" and same day in the evening EAD and AP = APPROVED :dancing: )
September 26, 2016 - EAD and AP Approval Notice Hardcopies Received by Mailbox
October 5, 2016 - EAD case changed to CARD WAS MAILED

Received muy NOA2 Hard copy in the mail yesterday with notice date 1/29, but I received the email with update that my case was approved 2/1. Stay positve and be patient everyone. Best of luck

Yeah it caught me off guard honestly. I had written this week off and was putting my hopes on next week. I received the email on scienceteacher15's post stating their noa2 approval and then I noticed that I had a notification from the app. It stated case was approved. So just keep your app running on your phone and it will let you know. That notification put the life back into me. I was feeling exhausted and depressed from working 6-7 days a week, now I feel like I just came back from a vacation. Well on to the next, good luck to you.
