Priority Date - this is not used by USEM with the K-1 visa. Just the same, the form will not let you leave the space blank so, find your NOA1 and enter the RECEIVED DATE, you will also find it in the email from NVC when you get your MNL #. Odds are you could use any date being its not used by USEM. But, as we said you can't leave it blank or you can't move forward with your scheduling.

The pictures can be the same or different. Just be sure they follow the passport picture requirements.

Another question: Am I correct to fill-out Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application (DS-160)?

Because I've read some article that they consider K1 as Immigrant Visa, should I fill-out Immigrant Visa Application (DS-160) instead? Thanks again!

regarding evidence of support along with I-134, does it necessarily have to be original copies of ITR, w2 and paystubs or a scanned copy is fine?

Congratulations !! I'm waiting for mine. Optimistically hoping for this week, realistically expecting next week

On a side note, I notice many people's timelines show Texas Service Center with a transfer to California Service Center occurring basically on the received date. Are people getting confused with filling in the timelines or are they really being sent to the Texas Service Center first ? The lockbox is NOT the Texas Service Center.

Well, in our NOA1 it says that case was transferred from Texas to California center. It took 3 days for case to get from Texas to California. I think it depends on where you live, so some people's cases can get to California immediately.

Same here! We got approved- NOA2 on 22nd January and until now, there is no NOA2 hardcopy, it's 9 business day has gone. I will wait until 10 days as advised by VJ members here and if we don't get it until Friday (tomorrow), I will ask my fiancé (Petitioner) to call USCIS.

I also called NVC yesterday if they have our case number since 11 business days has gone after NOA2 approval but unfortunately the lady who answered the phone said to call again after 35 days ;-I

35 days? I've seen on people's timelines that everything goes pretty much fast after USCIS, like a month and your case is already in embassy.

No need to hold up all the other process's. Keep moving forward as everything catches up before you will interview. So right now, don't worry about the AOS information. We are hearing from most who are approved from USEM that they are no longer asking for the AOS information BUT USEM still states in the Embassy letter to have it available if the CO needs it at your interview.

K-1's fill out the DS160. As a K1, when checking your case online at CEAC you have to select "immigrant visa" as it is treated as such even though it is a "non-immigrant visa". Don't ask why, as no one has been able to articulate why! Yes, that is confusing but just remember what I said above and you will be fine. DS-160 is what you will fill out online.

Scan copies are fine but you are required to have a "wet signature" (original) for the I-134 form. So he might as well just include originals where possible when sending the I-134. Here is the catch-22 for those processing through the Philippines. The I-134 is "suggested" that it be available at the interview but the past 9 months they have stopped asking for it. Till it is eliminated from the Embassy Letter (P3) I still recommend that you have it prepared and available at your interview.

The good news is.. I called again the NVC today like 20 minutes ago and I have got our case number! Yeyyy!!!! I believe that when they says "35 days" means that's their standard time but we need to be persistent to call them. Our case is already at NVC. I will just wait for NOA2 Hard copy and Packet 3 and hopefully before expiration of our I-129F I will get my visa God Bless to everyone!
