Once you have your case approved, you can complete the DS-160. You don't have to wait for your case to be ready. Just bring the print out of the confirmation page with the bar code to your interview.

Got my hard copy of NOA1 in my mailbox when I got home from work this evening! NOA2 here we come.

Keep the updates coming everyone and good luck to all. It would be great to see some December filers get NOA2 before Christmas and or New Years.

Overnight mail. Delivered and signed for on December 3.

December 7 got the noa1 email. My case is assigned to California.

AOS Filed : July 12
NoA Date : July 29
Bio. Appt. : Aug 11
RFE for AOS Sept 6
RFE response Sept 13
RFE #2 NOV 5 (114 days)
RFE hardcopy arrived Nov 9 2016

Had 3025 transcribed by a civil surgeon.
Mailed back to uscis
127 days=485 . . 89 days=EAD

How soon after they receive the application do you get email or text notification. My application was delivered and signed for yesterday at 10:17AM and have yet to get anything! Ugh the anxiety ???

I got my e-notification 3 days later (almost exactly 72 hours after delivery). From looking at other timelines, it seemed like 3 days was faster than average...some people waited a week. :clock:

*Delay in filing due to typo on visa which took many calls, an InfoPass appointment, and about two months to resolve.

NOA: 12/2/2016

RFE notice rec'd online: 12/21/2016

RFE letter rec'd: 12/30/2016

Biometrics appointment: 1/4/2017

Our application has made it to the lockbox at 3.18am this morning. We sent it on the 3rd but didn't send it priortiy but we sent it with tracking. Fingers crossed it won't take too long to get the NOA1 recieved Notification :)

Good luck everyone.

When you can fill out your time line so others can view your progress and have something to compare to. Good luck mine was received on Dec 7th waiting for my e-notification,

I don't know, sorry. I sent a money order so can't tell when it was cashed. (I only used a money order because my personal checks have a very old address of mine, and I didn't want to take the chance of getting an RFE for something silly like my check address not matching my forms. You never know....)

Paper NOA1 arrived today, dated December 2. So that's no surprise for me. Lord willing everyone's will come through early, or at least no later than on time! Haven't told m'girly about the progress :) Think I'll wait until she either asks, or it moves further into the process.
