GUys im confused, after receiving the approval notice?

WHat exactly is the next step?

http://nigeria.usemb...visa_forms.html

Fiance/Fiancee visas (K1s, K3s)

If your K1 or K3 petition has been approved by the Department of Homeland Security and you have received notification from the National Visa Center that your petition is on its way to post, you should download and complete the following application. The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos will contact you when your petition has arrived at post so that you may schedule your appointment. If you have questions, you may e-mailLagosIV@state.gov. [Click to open "Interview Preparatory Packet (K1, K3)"PDF 539KB] Also, please review the pamphlet “Information on the Legal Rights Available to Immigrant Victims of Domestic Violence in the United States and Facts about Immigrating on a Marriage-Based Visa.” (PDF 53KB)

Hi Amythyst88,

Have you got your MNL Case Number? as I've checked in your timeline, we have the same approval date so maybe I should consider calling NVC.

Thanks :)

Start calling after 10 business days after NOA2 approval. Details are in my signature below at the red twisting arrow. Use the "NVC to USEM" tab. Click on "Second Step Getting your MNL#" Good luck.

Feel free to use the rest of the sight for all things that you will need to process through the Philippines. Just go down the tab for each step as they are laid out in the order that they need to be completed.

Us too - our NOA1 date was 12/03/15, so we're even farther behind. :( Thus far I've been pretty relaxed about it, but should I be worried? Seems like it's taking way longer than for everyone else on here.

Normal processing can take anywhere from 45-90 days. Different countries and different backgrounds will require different scrutiny. Just have a little more patience.

In the meantime can you please finish your profile as it will tell us what Embassy your processing through and what visa you are chasing.

Go to the top right of this page select your name>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info".

There now we can better serve you.

Thanks :)

You will have if available to you when you get the NOA2. That will arrive sometime in the 2 weeks your waiting to call NVC. Once you have it then begin calling NVC.

during the interview in Manila, are we supposed to bring the exact copy of I-129F forms submitted or just the proofs of relationship such as photos, call logs etc? I've read something on the web saying to bring the copy of I129F packet?

thanks!

Congratulations to those of you that recently got your approval!

I just called NVC this morning 13 days after our packet was approved. I called at 7am on the dot and was on the phone for less than 5 minutes. I was given my case number and invoice ID number!

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

As I have written on my website the ONLY documents needed for the interview are outlined in the USEM Philippines Embassy Letter (sometimes referred to as Packet3 (P3)). You DO NOT need anything else that is not contained in the Embassy letter. The exemption is to bring a dozen or so pictures of you and your fiancé together.
