It was very quiet around here last night...

Any Dec first week Noa1 and from Philippines who are still waiting for their Noa2?

Your parents will have to prove to the satisfaction of the US consular official at the interviewing US embassy/consulate, that they have significant ties to the Phils. such that they would return to the Phils. after their US visit is completed. Such ties could include, property, house ownership, current stable employment, etc. Each visitor visa applicant is presumed to have immigration intent, and must prove that they are not trying to immigrate to the US. A letter from a doctor, any documents from you, or any other invitation-type letter would likely have no positive effect on the visitor visa approval.

Most request for a visitor visa through USEM are denied BUT there has been an occasion, if they can convince the CO that they will return they can receive their visa. Good luck.

And another question: I have 10 years multiple entry US tourist visa, if I got approved for K1 visa.. is it going to be canceled? Any new visa that is issued will prompt USCIS to cancel any previous visa's.

Received our NOA2 approval tonight, woot! Now, on to NVC and Guangzhou....

Im now getting worried with our case ? Some case that are day/s behind us are already approved... I know it's case to case basis, but the agony of waiting is frustrating. We already called USCIS earlier this week, you think it's advisable to ring up again if nothing changed by next week? Or it might just delay our case?

I'm still waiting for NOA2, we got NOA1 on the 10th of December I have downloaded the Android app on my phone and it lists my case and 6 below mine, only 2 of them have been approved and the rest including mine just say 'case recieved' I feel like it really is pick of the draw when it comes to approving cases! Fingers crossed a lot more cases get approved today!

Just popping in here to say hi - even though I am a September filer...

It took me over a month to hear back after NOA1.. and even then it was a poxy RFE!

Just have some patience. The problem is that you are checking the website too much and you are making yourself crazy. Stop and just get on with your life and you will be soon surprised with your approval.

Calling only clogs the lines for others who may have a more pressing issue.

Same here! You are not alone.. Im also getting worried as I havent got approved yet
