Once you have your case approved, you can complete the DS-160. You don't have to wait for your case to be ready. Just bring the print out of the confirmation page with the bar code to your interview.

(Day 1) Aug 4, 2016 Fedex tracker shows packet delivered to USCIS in Chicago at 10:27am

(Day 11) Aug 15, 2016 Received text and email acceptance notification at 11:45pm

(Day 18) Aug 22,2016 Received hard-copy NOA 1

(Day 23) Aug 27, 2016 Received biometric appointment letter via US mail.

(Day 33) Sept 6, 2016 Biometrics Complete for both the K1 and K2

(Day 102) November 15, 2016 EAD status changed to "New Card Being Produced".

(Day 102) November 15, 2016 AP status changed to "Approved".

(Day 104) November 17, 2016 EAD status changed to "Card sent via USPS".

(Day 111) November 21, 2016 EAD delivered via USPS.

Do we have to wait until we pass the approximated time listed on the timeline to call?

Oh yeah, i suggest try to call after 30 days. Although u have an option to call them for follow up today. ?

I'm getting excited as more and more NOA2s are getting approved for December. Second week of December getting approvals now, soon it'll get to the last week of December and we'll get our NOA2 :joy: . Can't wait. Congrats to everyone getting their NOA2s. It must feel great. :joy:

Still waiting, Fiancee contacted CSC about our case only to just get an automated voice recording saying "We are dealing with your case/request. We will contact you when we have made a desicion" ?

What would be the best time to apply for their B1/B2 Visa, wait for K1 visa on-hand or they can apply now?

That's my same question too! Anyone can answer us? I also would like to know if I can ask my family for Tourist visa even though I haven't got my K1 visa yet?

And another question: I have 10 years multiple entry US tourist visa, if I got approved for K1 visa.. is it going to be canceled?

You can fill out the form for your parents if you know all of the details, but outside of that there is nothing else you can do. They will need to prove on their own merits that they have strong ties to their country, that they can afford the trip, and will be returning home.

There is no letter, invitation, recommendation, or anything else you can provide to "help" them to get the Visa. In fact having a child in the US will make it harder for them to apply for the Visa, so they will need plenty of strong supporting evidence that they will be returning home.

To apply for a B1/B2 visa, they will go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ and choose their appropriate country (http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visaapply.asp for PH).
