Hey all. I've been seeing conflicting info reading so many threads (maybe I should stop reading so much).

I included all my proof of ongoing relationship and proof of seeing each other) with my petition. I've seen other info that says they only want that when you go for your interview.

I also included my divorce decrees with my petition but I'm also seeing posts that conflict with that as well.

What's the deal? I guess there's no harm in sending too much stuff, is there? I thought all that was supposed to be in the petition.

The divorce decrees are required per the I-129F instructions, as is some evidence that you have met in person at least once within the last 2 years. Those are the minimum requirements to submit the petition, and from my understanding "front loading" evidence of an ongoing relationship is common practice. When in doubt, follow the instructions! :) (Pg. 5 of http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf)

Also remember that when they are looking at the petition, the adjudicator isn't supposed to assume anything. If it isn't in black-and-white, then it isn't there. I've never found anything that says that specifically, but having worked with and for the government, I can tell you it's true for any kind of government form/application.
