You're vastly underestimating how many they get ?

I had to go back more than 12,000 cases before I found the one from December 11 that I found approved.

Wow, ya I guess so lol. I wonder how many numbers are between us since we have the same timeline. On another note, congratulations to everybody for getting those noa2s

We could be hundreds or even thousands apart. Seems to me they release things in batches. It would go several thousand on one date then jump a week or two back.

We should get our NOA2's (or RFE'd hopefully not) a day or few apart.

Another trick is call right at 7:00 am EST and your call will be answered on the first or second ring. Wait 5 min to 7:05 am and your back on the Hamster Wheel.

congrats to all that got approved. So happy for your guy hope the rest off us will get approve soon. So anxiously waiting, I check the phone app couple times a day to see if our case status change. Sometime I just want to uninstall the app so I can't check it all the time, and wait for the text/e-mail notification from USCIS, but i can't and keep check the case status .......

Which app do you use?

I'm new here, it seems like once our case gets approved from USCIS, it goes to NVC, I see lots of comments of people calling NVC. Does it make to case go faster if we call?

It doesn't go any faster. On a gut instinct I just called , instead of waiting 4 weeks and so. Just called them and they gave me my case number and invoice, I guess I was one of the luck ones .

By getting your case number from NVC (you should wait 7-10 business days before calling to give USCIS enough to get the file to NVC and for them to enter it into the system thus creating the case number) you save about 4 weeks of wasted time waiting for the email or mail notification for your number. Check with your requirements at you Embassy and see if you can move things along. The main item everyone is trying to is to schedule and appointment and then complete the medical.

Here is my boilerplate answer for when you receive your NOA2.

Keep in mind that a forum like this one is for initial bonding with others who are along the same timeline as you for initial processing. The initial application is the same no matter where in the world you are. But, having said that, once you get your approval (NOA2 text message or email), you should also check in with your country's sub-forum to get a better understanding of the process for the Embassy that you will be interviewing with, and to get direct answers from those who have completed the steps you are about to at the US Embassy - Australia.

Those in this thread, are applying from various Embassies around the world and there are different processes for each. So what works in Russian, Philippines or UAE may not work for those processing through the Australia Embassy. When you are at the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Australia most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

Link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/146-australia-and-new-zealand/

Get the Australia K1 Embassy Letter (EL) at http://canberra.usembassy.gov/nonimmigrant-visas/appointment-checklist.html as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the EL as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

http://canberra.usembassy.gov/

One last place to check for information would be the VJ Wiki found here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Special:AllPages

Good luck and God's speed.

Don't expect to have your NOA2 before the 30 day window between NOA1 and NOA2 has elapsed. It's rare that it happens. So stop freaking out. Remain calm. Have greater patience as this journey is going to drive you nuts otherwise.

Three years ago when we were processing it was taking 90-120 days minimum before we saw our NOA2. Your lucky that it is now 30-45 days.

For those who's freaking out, we gotta relax, mine and my fiance case is kinda frustrating too but we must be patience. Our NOA1 got approved Dec 3, 15 and we haven't receive NOA2 as of today ?. We called today to follow up and said still in process "red flag" status. It only relieved me due to my fiance is flying here next week to work for 14 days (so we could spend time together). Well he comes every other month to work here in the Phils. Our only hope is to PRAY and get a life! hehe. Have a bless day!
