Stealing the link from Greenbaum's signature, you can go here it provides the link for the Android or iPhone app. http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa#!get-the-app/czzs

These are not official USCIS apps, but apps that people have created to bridge a necessary gap.

Thank you! It's good to see someone else from Tennessee on this site too ! I think we are like 3 hours away

Hello,

We sent our I-129F yesterday and it was delivered today.

Now we await the next steps. Good luck everyone.

Our cheque was drawn on the 30th of December 2015 and we received NOA1 email on the 31st of December 2015. Petition sent to California (yaaaay)

The wait felt like forever compared to some December filers who received NOA1 in a matter of 2-4 days but given the holidays in between it kinda makes sense. Happy it has been received now.

All the best everyone :-)

Hello Gang,

You can add ours to the mix.

12/17/2015: Sent I-129F package to Dallas Lockbox (USPS Express)

12/22/2015: Officially received at the Dallas Lockbox

12/24/2015 NOA1 Notice Date

12/26/2015: Check cashed

1/2/2016: NOA1 hard copy received and case was transferred to CSC

Wow that was quick:

Ours:

12/15/2015: Sent I-129F package to Dallas Lockbox

12/16/2015: Officially received and signed for at Dallas Lockbox

12/30/2015: Cheque cashed

12/31/2015: NOA1 email received

Not complaining though, our ball is rolling now but the wait was tense given the short wait times we've seen here like yours and the other couple whose petition was lost sadly :-(

All the best :-)

Hi-

I was in the Magic Kingdom on the 29th when I got the text message and email.

Came home on the 2nd and the hard copy was there.

Everything was sent to the CSC, which surprises me.

Do I check the status now with the receipt number given?

Yaay another Muddy Island filer like us :-)

Good luck.

Well, that's a very good question.. I bartend and work a commission based sales job. I know my retail job claims everything, but I highly doubt my bar manager claims cash tips. So legally, I don't have any idea what is claimed, but technically yes. That's why I figured I would need my mother's help since I don't know what my income looks like on government paper

Did you file income tax in 2014? If so, look at line 22 of your 1040 and that is the number they will use.

If that does not meet the poverty levels because of reporting, then do you have W2 or an employee letter that states your income level. If you do, and it meets or exceeds the poverty level then you do not need a co-sponsor.

We just need to show them that your able to support your family on what you earn. The reason we are going through this exercise is that some Embassy's will decline 99% of the co-sponsor's. Some do. I am not family with the Embassy at DR so I can't comment for sure. It's better if you can stand on your own.

The hard copy says to verify personal information; are we supposed to physically verify it somewhere?

They just want to make sure that information is correct. The information can be changed at your interview.

Hello all,

Is anyone here including their fiancé(e) kids in the process?

Has anyone read any recommendations whether to include the children for a K-2 visa?

I processed two K2's along with my wife. Yes, it's a good idea to include them in the 129F from the beginning. If they travel with mom it's much easier for her to have them with her each step of the way and to get each of the documents that she most likely will get for herself for them.

You can also file for them to follow which the same process but they have one year from the NOA2 to leave the country to join mom that is if everyone passes the interview.

Let me ask a question before we get to far into this so you don't have to do more than you need to for the interview.

I am assuming your the USC. Do you make enough income (Line 22 from IRS 1040) to exceed the amount needed to support your family based on the current poverty guidelines?

Family Members - Poverty Level

1 $11,770

2 $15,930

3 20,090

4 24,250

5 28,410

6 32,570

7 36,730

8 40,890

USCIS Guide line said we need at lease $19,912 unless you are in the military.

Wong,

The chart you posted has written on the top "Minimum Income Requirements for Use in Completing Form I-864" Which is not needed in the K-1 process until after the Visa has been issued. The income requirements for the K-1 interview is only 100% Poverty, so for a family of 2 (Husband and Wife) you only need to make 15,930, however you will need to plan to make more money or find a co-sponsor if you don't make 19,920 or more by the time you need to file your I-864.

Happy New Years Everyone!

We are also in the same boat.

12/19/2015: Sent I-129F package to Dallas Lockbox

12/23/2015: Officially received and signed for at Dallas Lockbox

12/29/2015: Check cashed

12/29/2015: NOA1 email received (California Service Center (L) )

I'm going to pick up hard copy of NOA1 from my PO box today.

My fiance is citizen of India but he's in Australia on a student visa. So we have picked Sydney consulate for our interview.

We do have one so called red flag.

My Ex-husband came to states via me on CR1 visa. He was still on his two year conditional green card when we got divorced. I met my fiance October 2014. Me and my ex-husband weren't together anymore at this time but legally we were married. We filed for divorce in Feb 2015 and with California law of 6 months, our divorce was finalized in August 2015. A month later in September 2015, I got engaged to my fiance. I took 3 months off from work to spend time in India with him. It was the best time of my life. I came back end of November and he went back to Australia. After getting all the documents together, we sent our petition in December 2015 (Front loaded, with dated photos, airline tickets, letter of affidavit, phone calling records, skype, whatsapp, fb, engagement ceremony pics and invitation). Now just waiting and praying that things go quickly and we can soon be together. (L)
