Hope everyone had a lovely christmas. Still waiting for NOA2 hoping its not too far behind.

I had a great Christmas, thank you... hoping that next year, my other half will be here, as well as everybody else's significant other in this group. I'm still waiting for my NOA1, I can't even fathom the next step haha. I should have asked for patience for Christmas, because I currently have none ! Good luck, fingers are crossed that you get your NOA2 ASAP!

Still no Noa1 (it's been 1 week, with holidays.. I understand) but Texas cashed my check this morning... So that's exciting.. Hopefully more positive news for others

wait couple hour you get the email with case number and text message. I check my bank on the 24th and it showed deposited but didsn't get email until late that day

16valve where are you? haven't heard from you in a few days. We both sent our packets in on the same day, I received my Noa1 @ 3:46pm today, i'm hoping you got yours today too!

And for others ahead of me in this journey, do you add the NOA1 on your timeline when you get the text/email or when you get the actual notice in the mail?

Received NOA2 hard copy in the mail today. It was postmarked December 24, although the notice is dated December 23.

Does anyone know how long it take for you to be able to check your case status online? I received the noa1 email on the 24th but as of today it still not show online I call USCIS they said it not show up on their system to.

in my e-mail that I got today, it said my recepit and form I-797 will be mailed to me within 7-10 days, then I will be able to check my case status online. Have you recieved your information by mail yet? It's only been a couple of days, I'm sure by Friday you will be able to see it.

I was able to see my status online as soon as I recieved the text notification. Perhaps the holiday has caused a delay in entering it into the system.

Different circumstances will delay your ability to access the online confirmation system. Because of the holidays I think it is reasonable to expect to go online today or tomorrow and see the updated status. Nothing is wrong. Just a little slow due to the holidays.
