So out of wanting to make sure, my fiancé called the uscis for request of correcting his surname in noa1 and we're gonna wait within 30 days for feedback if it's something to be concerned of..

Now my question is, will our request to uscis affect the process of our papers or the progress for they might pull out our papers for double checking or whatsoever???

It's a minor mistake, don't think it will hold you up. I venture to say that you will have your NOA2 before you get an answer to your email. I could be wrong but my money is on that you will not get a reply.

Mailed petition on Friday.

So nerve wracking!

It's a long haul to the finish line so pace yourself. Don't over think the process. It's easy if you follow the guides and help that others give you.

BTW, Can you please finish your profile as it will tell us what Embassy your processing through and what visa you are chasing.

Go to the top right of this page select your name>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info".

Thanks and good luck

I think everything is there now!

Everything is looking good except for your country. That can be found further down in the area where you made changes. See my instructions if you are unfamiliar with finding the area to make changes in. Once you add your country you will then see your nations flag under your name on the left column when you make entries here in VJ. It makes for a quick reference guide for those who are attempting to answer your questions.

Unbelievable. The updated my "next day delivery" to tomorrow.

I'm beyond pissed off right now. I know it's the holidays and all but you pay for overnight, you expect overnight.

FedEx or usps

USPS. They're trying to tell me that orders placed from 12/21 after would not be guaranteed. I was NOT told that.

If I had been, I would have gone FedEx.

Hell, I'd drive the damn thing to Texas from MA myself at this point.

Mine did the same thing when I sent mine, there was no one to sign for it, they go back at a different time. Give it till around 3 and call the post office, they are kind of rude but it's worth a try

It's impossible to get through. I'm just going to have to suck it up.

I'll kill somebody tomorrow at the post office I sent it from

Update; odd. Even though it STILL says updated delivery day is tomorrow, I just got notified that it was delivered at 11:56 this morning.

Seems convenient knowing that they'd have to give me a refund if it hadn't.

Whatever. Ill take it. Hopefully I get the NOA1 soon.
