Thanks a lot. We now have passport stamps included to show that she was in america at the time, however boarding pass tickets we do not have. Also we have tremebdous evidence of us having met AFTER we filed the i-129f, i dont know if that will help because rfe asks for 2 years prior...

We sent in 6 different photographs from the last 2 years before we filed. We put our full names, the date of the picture and the location on the back. Sounds hard to remember dates but a lot of them we could figure out eg: When we went to the grand canyon etc.

You need to send flight tickets and passport stamps. This is the best way for them to see you've gone back and forth. Me and my now husband knew from the get go to retain flight tickets. Don't worry though, just send the passport stamps and then also send a copy of your I-94 record.

To get your I-94 record visit:

https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/

fill in all the details and it will show your foreign partners entrances and exits to the states.

Make sure again to make two copies of the RFE like you would of done for the original package.

It may also help to send anything you've got from after filing. Any plane tickets, just photocopy them and send them in the package. It can't hurt to send over too much. At least then it shows that you're maintaining the relationship whilst in the process of filing.

Also, you said you didn't send any tax information? You only need the tax information at the interview with the affidavit of support so that's not a problem.

Good luck! You've got this!

Also if maybe you have some confirmation in your emails that you/her bought plane tickets (I always get my flight information to my email when I book via Norwegian). It doesn't mean that you actually boarded the plane, but it might be worth sending anyway. Like Abbyerin said; rather too much than too little.

Maybe also credit card records that shows you/she used your/her card at that specific time at that specific place (like if she used her card when meeting you in the US, send records of that).

Im sorry, but what do we need 2 copies of all the documents for again? One is for the visa interview right? and the other?

Might be country specific, I have no idea. We only had one i-129f package and that is the one we sent to USCIS. From what I understand they recommend you to send a copy to the beneficiary so s/he can see what is in the package, so s/he knows what type of info the embassy has when they receive it. Same with an RFE I guess.

Other than that I see no reason for why you should have copies of the whole thing and/or RFEs. But like I said, maybe it's country specific.

Personally, I made two copies of the I-129F. We sent one and then my husband brought the other over to England when he flew over for christmas. We also made two copies of the documents needed for the interview (Affidavit of support, tax documents, DS-160 etc etc).

If you do an RFE - I would recommend to make a complete duplicate of it, just in case. At any point in the process, a document can be lost by either the mail system or the actual immigration officials. It's best to have it ready incase the RFE is lost or just incase you want to double check what you sent etc. It's not necessary but it's very advisable to do so. I'm also super ####### with paperwork haha!

As long as you send over photocopies of any passport stamps (in either of your passports), the I-94 record and as Scandi said, if you've got any email confirmation of flights, that may help too.

Always give too much so there is less chance of a further RFE. You'll be absolutely fine :)

2 Copies isn't needed, but it's something some people do, as other's have said it's country specific. I read the guides here and made 2 copies, but when it came down to it, for China I never touched the documents I made copies of.

We were never worried that any documents would get lost, we only sent copies and kept the originals. So in case something would get lost it'd only take a few seconds to make a new copy of the missing document anyway, we saw no reason to have copies of the whole thing for that reason.

To each his own, I doubt many people have use for an additional copy of the whole thing but I think many do it anyway because it's a recommendation in the VJ guide. Kinda like me at the interview, I brought a sh*tload of documents that weren't needed whatsoever - I rather bring too much than too little. :P

Finally got my visa in hand yesterday, great feeling.

Despite this K-1 journey taking so long, I still consider myself lucky. According to the app there's still many December filers waiting to hear ANYTHING from USCIS. I hope they all receive their NOA2 soon.

We got NoA 2 (approved) on September 12, 2016, 8 months and 21 days after the 1st NOA. I think we need to change average approval date from 40 days to something else because of our "low grade"....

Now do I wait or do I have to send a package somewhere to be received?
Please help!
