Hi everyone. Is it ok to have the medical 5 days after the interview? My Fiance couldn't get a sooner appointment for his medical

You have to have all of your medical information with you at the interview.

UNLESS the consulate you're going to doesn't require it. I would check with your consulate requirements.

We couldn't change the interview date or the medical date. My fiancé had the interview today. The CO looked at our documents, our pictures. He was asked about 4 questions about me and our relationship but 1 of the questions was very personal and the CO looked upset my fiancé said. But he gave him back his passport, a form to fill out and to return it with his medical. So hopefully once he brings the form and the medical he will get his visa. I'm praying

Yes they can ask whatever they want. Even if it's to illicit a certain response. I hadn't heard of them asking anything so personal it would be over the line though.

My fiancé has her interview Tuesday. I keep telling her to relax. We've got everything solid as far as the paperwork goes and she would know any answer to any question.

She's just a negative Nancy sometimes

@ 16 Valve

They went through our facebook also. I heard since that California shooting thing they've been checking people's facebooks. And good luck to you and your fiancé

I should be posting in this thread and not the January one, I had mistaken our NOA1 date for January 5, when in fact it is December 30. *doh* That's how smart I am sometimes.

Anyway, I hope you're all doing fine with your petitions and visas!

Fiance just had her interview.

Not approved. Pretty gutted and deflated right now. Not over however.

Question: The ONLY reason was a petty theft 22 YEARS ago and the interviewer said she can file a waiver. Does anybody know about this at all and how long it might take?

I'm trying to keep her calm and focused so she can file the waiver ASAP

Greenbaum, any info on this waiver business?

You have everything . Don't forget your fiancé birth certificate from her country also. Ask for a superviser on your next trip. Unless she plans on working. Other then that what you have list plus the birth certificate that's all I need for my fiancé . Best of luck !!!

CSC is 5 months, and we're over 5 months now. So we're outside normal processing time.
