Hi everyone,

My fiancé filed our case in December too (09/12/2015) everything was going quite smooth until 5th February 2016. We received letter from NVC that day stating that it'll now forward the petition to the embassy in Islamabad. And it's 23 March 2016 now, and we never got our packet 3.5. We emailed embassy and they say that they sent packet 3.5 on 9th February 2016. We emailed them again telling them that we never received anything but they haven't replied yet. We are pretty tensed now. Any suggestions?

Do they mail or email your packet? If the email, check your spam folder as many times that's where it ends up.

Do they mail or email your packet? If the email, check your spam folder as many times that's where it ends up.

They were supposed to send an email (of packet 3.5) to my fiancé in Texas and me as well. We've been checking our emails (inbox and spam, both) regularly, but we never got any. We sent them email, they said "as per their records they've sent an email on 9th February 2016" ... We wrote to them again that we have not received anything but no one is responding back :( what should we do? Should we call NVC? Can they help?

Just an update from me, had a 2 week delay from my medical due to Knightsbridge (London) wanted some medical details from a few years back.

It was received by the embassy this week and my Interview is next month :)

Because didn't you just get approved NOA a few days ago?

Nope, RFE'd. Hopefully approved soon since they now have my returned doc they asked for.

Entered the embassy at around 8:15 (it was on 8:30) and went out at 9:30! In three words - fast, easy and positive!
Interview went so great! Woman who was talking with me was REALLY cool! It seems to me that she was asking me not like a "she is a serious worker", but like friend!
So, questions were the following:
1) when did you meet?
2) how many times he was in Ukraine? how much time did we spend together?
3) what is his job?
4) what is my job?
(he is a musician and i'm an artist so she was interested in as she said ARTISTIC couple)
5) why do I know English so good? :idea:
and the last one
6) retell me your rights from the brochure in Ukrainian : :secret:
and that's all! She smiled all the time and gave me back my papers and a paper - your visa is approved!
Today 25th I got home and the status of my visa is already "issued"! :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing: I am so happy! Thank you everybody, who are charing by information here! You've helped me a lot! An amazing web! Good luck everyone who is waiting! It is loooong but it is completely worth it!!!!!
