Don't bother calling for your case number until 10 business days have passed since you were notified that your case was approved - NOA2. It takes approximately 10 days for the NVC to receive your case from USCIS.

Mr. Greenbaum,

I Already have the case number

NVC received the case on March 9th, March 10th CEAC show it "In Transit" March 15 show it "Ready" but when i contact the consulate in Ho Chi Minh, VN via their online inquiry they told me that the haven't received the hard copy, only received electronic copy from NVC.

The interview date is schedule by NVC when they send out packet 4 ? or do we go online and schedule it, if so where do i go to do that ?

Once you have your case approved, you can complete the DS-160. You don't have to wait for your case to be ready. Just bring the print out of the confirmation page with the bar code to your interview.

Go to your Embassy's website and look for the instructions. Every Embassy lists what is needed and the steps to complete your interview.

I just want to share my happiness :) I just got a call from US Embassy to pick up my passport/visa today :) Again, Thank you to all of you who helped me for this K1 visa process.. Next step is AOS but for now I have to find my airfare ticket :) Super excited to see my Fiance ;) & to be with him for the rest of my life <3

God Bless to everyone who are still in the process of this petition & to all who are still waiting for their NOA2 approval, interview result & their visa... GOD BLESS & everything will be fine. Just never forget to Pray for it :D

Visa Received (On Hand): March 21, 2016 at 1:30pm (US Consul called me to pick up my passport/visa between 1:00-1:30pm)

How many days passed from your approval until pick up call?

They approved it on 17th March (Thursday) but Friday and Saturday is weekend here in Bahrain so offices are closed. Then Sunday it was Administrative Processing then today which is Monday (21st March) I got a call in the morning from US Consul Specialist to pick up my passport and the sealed envelopes. So technically, it's only 2 business days.

:dance::dance::dance: wooohoooo, congratulation.. i am still waiting for the embassy for my p3 :wacko:

Also, i just want to share about the expiration of my visa:

" My medical appointment date was on 6th March 2016 and I was expecting that my K1 visa date will be from March 6, 2016 - Sept. 5, 2016 as usually for K1 visa, the date of the medical appointment will be your visa date but I have learned today that here in Bahrain US Consulate, it don't follow. My visa date is from March 21, 2016 until Sept. 19, 2016. I have received my visa today which is 21st of March."

How many days passed from your approval until pick up call?

Have you not received yours yet? We interviewed last Tuesday the 15th and got same day approval. The visa was issued today Monday, 3/21/16. Not too much of a wait for DR Embassy.

Have you not received yours yet? We interviewed last Tuesday the 15th and got same day approval. The visa was issued today Monday, 3/21/16. Not too much of a wait for DR Embassy.

No, I really havent gotten it yet. I'm actually sitting right beside cmhernandez and we are questioning our lives, and why we can't get our visa after our approval. She was approved February 16, and I was approved March 8. Still nothing for both of us

What does the status say when you both check? Our status said Ready for a couple of days, Administrative Processing for 2 days, and then yesterday it said Issued.
