Yes I noticed that. When i checked mine under immigrant it says its ready, but when I tried to call the consulate they said it wasn't there. It also makes you fill out the DS-160 under non. So Is it safe to just fill out and set the interview up before the letter from the consulate comes?

Well, I don't know which country you are dealing with, but for me and Ukraine, I did everything before receiving anything from the consulate. My fiancee's medical exam in tomorrow morning and next Monday is the interview. Only today was our case status made "Ready" at the embassy. However, consulates vary widely as far as what you can get done early and their procedures. Best to check the forum specific to your consulate and also complete more information in your profile for people to help you better.

Once you have your case approved, you can complete the DS-160. You don't have to wait for your case to be ready. Just bring the print out of the confirmation page with the bar code to your interview.

The interview/application will be sent to the Embassy. 99% of the time no beneficiary in the Phil ever receives Packet 3. That's because Phil Post sucks big time. So don't look for it.

This is why we advocate getting your MNL# (case number) from NVC after you are approved. Once you have the MNL# you can pay your visa fee, schedule your interview, complete the DS-160 and complete your medical.

Depends on your Enbassy. Go to your Embassy's website and familiarize yourself with what the requirements are. Most here in this forum are trying to get their arms around their requirements from their Embassy. They have no experience with your Embassy. That's for you to go to your sub forum and ask your questions. You'll be better served there.

Every applicant for the I-129f is the same. Once you get your NOA2 then at that point point going forward everything is different and every Embassy. Again seek out your sub-forum for answers specific to your Embassy's processing requirements.

I found one receipt number that has a NOA1 on December 28 that still says "Case received" and nothing about approved or RFE, so it seems like there are still some. Not everyone are members here though.

We're winding down in December for initial filing--at least for those who actively use the site/continuously update their timelines.

Our interview for the UK was scheduled on the 4th of April and we're pretty much getting last minute stuff together. Either way it's exciting!! If anyone is still waiting from the forum, keep you're chin up!! All will be well :)

July 29, 2016 - AOS, EAD & AP NOA1s hardcopy received
August 05, 2016 - Biometric Appointment Letter received (it was sent on 2nd Aug)
August 15, 2016 - Biometric Successfully Done within 20 minutes at Southpoint Jacksonville
September 21, 2016 - EAD and AP APPROVED via USCIS case status (Sept. 21 in the morning, EAD status was "NEW CARD BEING PRODUCED" and same day in the evening EAD and AP = APPROVED :dancing: )
September 26, 2016 - EAD and AP Approval Notice Hardcopies Received by Mailbox
October 5, 2016 - EAD case changed to CARD WAS MAILED
October 11, 2016 - Combo Card (EAD/AP) status changed to CARD WAS DELIVERED TO YOU BY THE POST OFFICE

October 12, 2016 - Went to SS Office and changed my name to married name

just wondering if everyone from december has thier noa 2 now dont see much posting now

We got our noa2 and MNL number. My fiance is here in US with me now, she will be flying back next week to start the whole med/interview process
