Anyone still waiting on NOA 2?

Yes, Dec 22 received date. 12/24 NOA1 date.

It looks like a stand still of 129f approvals or something.

Once you have your case approved, you can complete the DS-160. You don't have to wait for your case to be ready. Just bring the print out of the confirmation page with the bar code to your interview.

Yes.. I'd be happy to get an RFE at this point, then at least I know they haven't lost our petition. :P

On CEAC it says "ready" but it said before:

Case creation - 24 feb 2016

Updated on - 29 Feb 2016

Today I checked on it and it said Updated on - 9 March 2016...

Does this usually mean that they're sending out a letter or something? Is there any way I can know what updates were made?

I've booked my medical but haven't got my letter saying the consulate have it yet. I've also already sent all forms off/even my readiness form.

Our AOS journey

06/30/2016- We got married!! (L)

07/19/2016 - Sent AOS, EAD, AP documents in the post with 2 day priority USPS

07/28/2016 - Package delivered very late as was delayed somewhere in transit

08/09/2016 - Text and email notifications starting at 12.41am (texts came first and then email).

08/12/2016 - Get 3 NOA's in the post with the filing date 07/29/2016 and the NOA date 08/05/2016

08/19/2016 - Get biometrics appointment letter in the post. Scheduled for 08/29/2016 at 1:00pm

08/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment done - quick and easy!

10/13/2016 - EAD and AP approved!
10/27/2016 - EAD status updated to "Card Mailed To Me".
10/31/2016 - EAD/AP combo card received in mail.

02/04/2017 - I-485 case status goes straight to "Card is being Produced" (Approved without interview). 

02/06/2017 - I-485 case status changes to "Case Approved"

02/07/2017 - I-485 case status changes to "Card was Mailed to Me".

Each time someone "touches your file" you'll see a message like what you have seen. There is no way of knowing exactly what it is they are doing. There's movement so be happy. Just a little more patience.

Check it daily, every embassy is different for China ours went to administrative processing right before packet 3 was sent out.

Oh, don't' worry!
We had the same.first date was: 24 of february, and the second - 26. Then when they have sent us a confirmation email in this day it was changed to 1st of March.
It means that you must receive their email these days about that you can schedule an interview.

Wanted to ask, do I need to take only DS-160 form to the embassy, or also DS-156??

What is that form?

Just wanted to say that all the wait is really worth it! My fiancé had his interview yesterday and hearing the CO say that everything was ok, that we just needed to wait for the visa, was everything!

11/12/2015 - Sent petition
16/12/2015 - USCIS received petition
18/12/2015 - NOA1 date According to NOA1 hardcopy
21/12/2015 - Received NOA1 email and text
27/12/2015 - Received NOA1 hardcopy
28/01/2016 - NOA2
10/02/2016 - Got NVC case number

Just wanted to say that all the wait is really worth it! My fiancé had his interview yesterday and hearing the CO say that everything was ok, that we just needed to wait for the visa, was everything!

Congrats!! I'm just waiting on the interview date myself. Fingers crossed that they book it end of March/beginning of April. Really can't wait to get to the end of the line for this 'first' phase lol

There are about 39 more cases that say, "received on dec 21st", I have them all tracked. Everyday about 2-4 get changed to approved or something else. So, hopefully soon..

My NOA date was 12/21 and it still says "received on december 21" even though we were approved on 2/4/2016. So 38 cases :)

Normal processing is running about 45 days. They have technically 5 months to process your application. This is a game of wait, so patience is necessary. Just think, there are so many more documents you will need and each time you have to wait. That includes, visa, AOS, ROC and Naturalization.
