If there is no requirement on their website for the necessary documents for the interview then you don't have to provide it. It's Embassy specific item.

I got this directly from somebody on the Aussie specific forum.

And since it takes about two minutes to do it, I'm just going to have it anyway. Better safe than sorry.

But thank you for everything you do. It's been a great help/

My fiance medical is done. Interview in 2 weeks. Yikes

Did anybody hear from getmoneymegan her interview was today.

I was wondering how their interview went too since our interview is a week from today at the same embassy she is going through. Good luck with interview in 2 weeks.

I know it can heart breaking when plans change and you have no control over it. Just remember the one who has the gold makes the rules. If she is a gold digger then I feel rather confident you will handle it with and eye for what she really is.

I wish you all the best.

Thanks.

I got NOA2 2/12. It sucks!

wait NVC still haven't received your file ?

I called again today. After giving the the case number the reps start to ask for the benificairy name (I said to my self Yes they received it) then she stopped short... then tell me case number not found in their system.

Then told me it could take USCIS up to 30 days to forward it. and Up to another 40 days for NVC to process it. Only when it process then they have a NVC case number, and a welcome letter will be send out.

Ill call them again tomorow

I just called again and getting the same response. Maybe they got alot of approved cased from USCIS and they don't have enough personel to handle them all, so thing going slow now compare to few weeks back

Anyone got approved late Feb got their NVC case yet ?

Well, im sitting in Atlanta waiting to go home, thought I'd give you guys an update:

Woke up at 430 am to get ready yesterday, drive to the u.s. embassy in the dark, stand outside starting at 6am (appointment was at 7am), we spend a good 45 minutes outside as it sprinkles on us, go inside to go through security, more waiting, finally move into a building with 30 interview Windows, we wait and wait, finally get called up to give them what they ask for (medical, passport, ds160, police papers) they tell us to sit and wait, 1 hour later we are called back up, a woman spoke to him in Spanish, then turned and spoke to me in English. She asked him 1. Have you ever been in trouble with the police 2. What countries have you been to, how long were you there, why were you there?

She then turned to me and asked 1. How many times have you been here to visit him? 2. How long have we been together? 3.how did we meet 4. When did we meet

She asked him: where did she (me) stay each visit. She then said oh you have a son, is he joining you, my fiance told her one day in the future is possible but not now not anytime in the near future, she told him ok you need to bring your sons birth certificate back, and then you're approved. He took the birth certificate back today, after he dropped me off at the airport, so that was my Dominican republic u.s. embassy experience!

I have no idea. I guess in the event that he would visit sometime in his lifetime? It caught me off guard for sure, I just wanted a "yes" not a "cone back with this and it'll be yes" but it's all good, if anyone else applying has any children involved I would just take the children's info as well, because we weren't prepared
