I already have my nvc number and invoice already . Just trying to get an estimated time for a interview date!

Wishful thinking ! Thank you for your reply

Use your number beginning with BNK and check the list in this link daily. If your attorney is being truthful with you and sent your packet 3 in when they said it should only take 3-5 days to get your packet 4 with interview date back. My fiance just spoke to someone else that she does not know well about their experience with the K1 visa in Thailand using an attorney. They started with the attorney in June. Her attorney supposedly sent in her packet 3, 3 months ago and her appointment is in February.... We sent our packet 3 Saturday and tracking showed it signed for at the Embassy on Sunday. We expect to have a February appointment notice in a day or so.

We just got APPROVED! Yay!!!

We just got APPROVED! Yay!!!

Congratulations that's awesome news!

I'm getting a bit worried as our NOA 1 was 17 December 2015 and we've heard nothing back. My fiancé had to call the office on 4 January 2016 as they had my birth country as UNKNOWN. So he called and advised to say I was born in the UK. It shows online this has been sorted out now on 19 January 2016 but our case hasn't been touched since. I just am probably being very impatient as I don't know how all this works. Any words to help me would be greatly appreciated. I didn't know if them having to update my case would delay it at all?

Our AOS journey

06/30/2016- We got married!! (L)

07/19/2016 - Sent AOS, EAD, AP documents in the post with 2 day priority USPS

07/28/2016 - Package delivered very late as was delayed somewhere in transit

08/09/2016 - Text and email notifications starting at 12.41am (texts came first and then email).

08/12/2016 - Get 3 NOA's in the post with the filing date 07/29/2016 and the NOA date 08/05/2016

08/19/2016 - Get biometrics appointment letter in the post. Scheduled for 08/29/2016 at 1:00pm

08/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment done - quick and easy!

10/13/2016 - EAD and AP approved!
10/27/2016 - EAD status updated to "Card Mailed To Me".
10/31/2016 - EAD/AP combo card received in mail.

02/04/2017 - I-485 case status goes straight to "Card is being Produced" (Approved without interview).

02/06/2017 - I-485 case status changes to "Case Approved"

02/07/2017 - I-485 case status changes to "Card was Mailed to Me".

About week ago when I talked to my attorney assistant , she seems mad because I've been blowing up her phone . She told me that in two weeks I should get a interview date. She guesses the last week of February is what the interview will be, she thinks .

I would be pretty mad if the person I was paying for their services got mad at me for asking them to keep me posted about what they are doing with my money.

Did you check for your case number in the link I just sent you? I believe that appointment file is updated daily.

Best of luck!

I've checked ,it's still nothing.... I did raise my voice to let her know. That's when she said I should know in a couple of weeks for my interview date, but back of my head doesn't believe her

assets for k1 visa

Here is a quick FAQ on using assets to qualify under the K-1 income value.

Q: How Can I Use Assets to Qualify?

A: Assets may supplement income if the immigration officer is convinced that the monetary value of the asset could reasonably be made available to support the fiancé visa applicant and converted to cash within one year without undue harm to the sponsor or his or her family members. You may not include an automobile unless you show that you own at least one working automobile that you have not included.

Q: What assets can be used?

A: Any type of asset can be used if it is readily convertible to cash within a year. Liquid assets, such as savings deposits, stocks, bonds, and certificates of deposit will be viewed most favorably because they would be most accessible for the support of sponsored immigrants. Other assets, such as property, may also be acceptable if they can be sold within a year.

Q: What evidence of assets is required?

A: Evidence establishing ownership and the value and location of assets is required. Information on any liens and/or liabilities relating to these assets must be provided. For bank accounts, bank statements for the most recent 12 months, or a letter from the bank stating the date the account was opened, a history of deposits and withdrawals for the past 12 months.

Hi, everyone!

I sent off the I-129F initial packet to the USCIS Lewisville, TX Lockbox mid-December for my Honduran fiancé and me, and I got an email on Christmas Eve that it was received at the CVC on 21 December (lucky us!). Our physical NOA1 receipt was received in the mail on 4 January.

Quick question: Are the NOA1 and NOA2 dates based on the date the email notifications give you, or when you receive the emails/physical receipts in the mail? In our case, is my fiancé's and my NOA1 date 21 December or 4 January? I want to make sure because I'm currently in Honduras visiting my fiancé, so I will have to make international calls to the NVC to get our case number ASAP in order to track our packet once we get our NOA2...I plan on doing this because I have two friends who just went through the K-1 process last year, and they almost missed their interview because they never received their Packet 3.

Thank you all in advance for any help you can give me! If anyone hasn't already checked it out, the "Life as Mrs. Presson" page (www.mrspresson.com) has been EXTREMELY helpful in addition to VJ! Her journey as described on her page is very Philippines-specific, but she also includes additional information regarding the standard visa process. VERY THOROUGH!

All best,

The future Mrs. Ramon Seibel

Once you receive the text message that your 129-F has been approved (essentially the NOA2) then wait about 10 business days and at that time you can begin calling NVC for your case number. Any sooner then that and you will have wasted your money on phone calls. Best to call the NVC when it is 7:00 am EST for the least wait times. Wait until 7:05 and you are in queue for 20 - 40 min.

Mrs. Presson has a very nice website. I invite you to visit mine but keep in mind it is centered around the process through the Philippines. But once your in the US you can start to use the AOS, ROC and Naturalization as they are not Philippines specific. The link is in my signature below at the red twisting arrow. Once you are on my front page scroll down a bit and you will see some handy tools that you can use to follow up on important matters.

The information that you follow for processing through US Embassy Honduras is located here. http://honduras.usembassy.gov/iv.html

Just got our RFE today. They are missing the letter of intent to marry. Now I checked the master rfe list, and they all say re sent with a wet signature.

I can get this in the mail tomorrow morning, if I can submit a copy of the letter. Or should I wait till the end of February when we see each other again to get a original?

The rfe does not specify either way, just says a statement. We have no wedding plans, but do have the receipt for her engagement ring. Anyone?

You should prepare I-130f affidavit Of support and letter how you met and chat. Examples online
