Sorry if I'm completely wrong, but am I the only one seeing red flags here??

You applied for and were successful in getting an ESTA, even though you had previously been turned around at the airport

Once again I apologise if I have completely misread the topic

Oh no...

They denied us entry when we wanted to go on the VWP. Not after.

We wanted to stay in VB for two months because our housemate needed some help as he was going through chemotherapy and radiation.

Why we wanted to go all of a sudden was because our housemate wanted us there before the 10th as his daughter was coming for a visit.

Not sure I understand why you intended to do?

Well, to be fair... The full story is irrelevant now as what happened happened.

But to clarify - Why we wanted to go so suddenly - as in: why we set everything up so quickly - was because our housemates's daughter was coming for a visit.

But the CHIEF reason why we wanted to go to our friend was to help him out while he was getting all this therapy.
