my grandmother petitioned my mother and was approved on july 1995...20 years later, we received communication from the nvc to start our application process for immigration.. my father died on oct 2013 which my mother is considered a widow. we are 5 siblings, which ages are 32, 28,27,24 and 19 as of 2015.now, we are aware that only our youngest sibling can go with my mom. and us 4 elders (me,being the eldest is not married but have 2 children/dependents,so is my next sibling had 1 child and unmarried too). we started process the six steps at nvc and recently, we started filling up the ds-260 form... now i have some questions for you to answer whoever knows or familiar or someone out there who has a case like us..i really need your help. my grandma is already 80 yrs old. so we have to do it our own on all the processing...

questions:

ds-260-related questions:

1. on the "personal information 1" page, you can see an entry marked CITY... but since my mother(the appicant) was born on a town or municipality. is it okay to place the name of the town even though CITY is being asked?

2.on the "previous spouse" page, you can see there an entry marked DATE MARRIAGE ENDED..my father died on oct 2013..so my mom is considered a widow...so what date do i have to fill-up on that entry, since i could not leave that entry/proceed to the next page?

3. on the "family information:children" page, you can see an entry marked number of children, so i placed 5 since we are 5 siblings.. then i started filling up child 1,child 2,..until child 5...since below that page, you can see the question "is this child immigrating to the US with you?" what would i answer in the case of us 4 elders who are beyond 21 yrs old as i mentioned above? and what about our youngest, what would be in his/her case? since if you answer no, you will be asked "if this child would join my mother at a later date?"what would be our answer regarding us 5 siblings???

4. on the "security and background: medical and health information" page, you can see an entry there..the 2nd question..what does it mean --->>> Q: do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with US law? for all i know, once we get to step 6...we will be notified sooner that they have received our requirements..then we have to wait for the scheduled medical exam and interview...but i just dont get what the question means...

i think that would be my questions so far since we are still as of this writing, at step 3... ill ask again any questions i may encounter that i do not know..

hoping someone will answer this truthfully... thanks a lot!!!

How is the sponsorship issue being addressed?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
