Hi I hope someone can help me with this question. Is it too late to file EAD and AP even tho I've sent concurrent package and already got NOA1?

I didn't file those documents because

1) I'm working as a nanny and don't plan on travelling soon

2) I figured this entire process will take about 6 months.

The reason why I'm asking is I've learnt that sometimes it could take longer depending on service center. Mine is currently at MSC and I can't seem to find any info on processing times for i130 and i485. BTW I'm adjusting from out of status h2b. Any input would be greatly appreciated

How are you legally working as a nanny without your EAD card?

Anyhoo, you can still file for EAD and AP while your AOS is still being processed. Receiving your EAD/AP combo card normally 1-3 months after filing.

Sure, include the copies of the receipts you have so far with the ead form. Fee is waived when done this way.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

If you don't want someone to ask you that question, no need in mentioning it to everyone...

I didn't realize that this was a judgemental site .sorry. I'm sure I'm not the only member in this situation. And this is America if u are willing to work u will find a job no matter what ur status is .no need for condescendings responses

Thank you very much for answering without judging me.

Also , should I mail to the Chicago address even tho my file is at MSC?

If you don't want to hear it, then don't post that you are working illegally.

Most people are doing things the legal way. It's not cool to have someone post "I am working illegally, so help me without judgment to keep my illegal activity going."

You came in here telling us you work illegally as a nanny and want to know how to get your EAD. You could have left out the working illegally as a nanny.

How would me asking for help on how to get my EAD keep my "illegal activity"? The whole point of me adjusting is so I can now do things the right way . Yes most ppl here doing things the right way but most ppl aren't in my positionif u live in a country that's not ur own u have to sustain yourself . Working as a nanny isn't taking anything away from ppl who are eligible to work. Yes I could have left that out but Damm u ppl are so judgemental
