Hi everyone, just out of curiosity, has anyone here received their greencard or I-551 stamp in New York City? I was just wondering how long it took for you to get your gc after you sent in your AOS packet. Or can anyone provide me with a link where I can find this information? Thanks

New York is notoriously slow... you're looking at the long end of processing of around 12 to 18 months or so...

NYC is speeding up if you look at VJ timelines. Our interview is in April and we just filed in January. but it's luck of the draw. *shrug*

Does the type of visa you came here with have any effect on how fast you get the interview date? My fiancee came on a K1 visa. Just wondering...
