N-600 vs. Passport

I just got my citizenship, I have 2 children below 18 years old. At the ceremony the DHS representative said that children below 18 will be automatically become US citizen as well ( as long as they met the requirements - GC holder and is living with me). Now, my question can I apply for their passports prior to N-600? Or passports will suffice without the Certificate of Citizenship as proof of citizenship?

Any feedbacks will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Given your exact timetable,

Apply for passports or passport cards for your kids. Easier, faster and cheaper.

Do I still have to apply for the N-600? Thanks.

Still not got my oath letter yet can I call USCIS office to confirm date of oath pls advise

Yes, you can call and request for a tier 2 officer. They can tell you date, time and location.

If they told me date and time can I go there and got another form

I think you should also ask that question when you speak to a tier 2 officer about your ceremony date and time.

My guess is that you might need the oath notice because there are attestions on the back of the form that you need to affirm prior to taking the oath. And I don't know if they bring extra notices to the oath ceremony on the off chance someone needs one.

I call the USCIS office and I spoke with an officer about me not receiving my oath letter and I ask him if he can tell me the date but he only told me if I don't receive my oath letter by 12/24/15 I should call does that mean my ceremony date is beyond the above date or should I request an appointment because the oath letter on my cases status said it was mail on 11/24/15

On December 9, 2015, we sent you a notice for Receipt Number NBC*00 confirming that you did not attend your scheduled oath ceremony. The notice we mailed you outlined the steps you must take to reschedule your oath ceremony. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by January 8, 2016, pls advise me what to do or what are the step they mean I must take. I did not get the oath letter that's why I missed the oath date

postal mail is important. you should fix that, at your address, first, with USPS.

Sorry !
