Nothing from NVC..

My NOA2 was on 27 october and case was sent to NVC on 6 november.Since then,I have not heard from NVC.Should i be worried?I tried to call them millions of time but its always busy.Plz guide me urgently approximately how much days you usually get welcome letter and case number from NVC ?

it usually takes them 2 weeks to put it in their system ,and about 30 to 45 days to assign a case number. so your not going to hear anything until then. after 30 days you can start calling to see if a case # and a IIN number has been assigned and then you can give over your email address and they will send you the welcome letter inside your email and you can start the nvc process . oh and yes they are always busy but in order to get through is to keep hitting the redial button and the options if its still the same is 1 for English and 7 to speak to someone .

They received our case on Nov 12 and we were told that it may take them up to 42 days since that day to assign a tracking number.

I haven't heard from them yet. All I know is because I called their number.

you will need to gather the requested forms and mail to them

for CR 1 it is current criminal investigation reports and IRS tax transcripts for last 3 years

look at the spain consulate site to see what else may be needed

NVC will let you know if they need any other information

How can i ask a question? I cant seem to figure it out. Btw my question is my parents interview is on december 10 but my father needs more testing called SPUTUM and it will take 8 weeks so should he just go for interview and submit reports later or should he reschedule his intervew?

dont know the answer so your best bet is to start your own topic. ok so what you do is at the top you go to the tab that says forums then click on the forum that best suits your question then at the top right it says start own topic and then you write a tite and ask your question

Hi,

The NVC will not answer the phone and will always stay busy. The best time to call is right after they open and 30 minutes before they close. They always answer the phone at that time. Good luck!

completly untrue they are open from 7am to midnight. I can see you saying the best time to call but to say they wont answer is wrong . I call all times of the day and get through. Is the wait long yes ! But they answer and i never waited more then 45min anways calling any other time during the day . Just want to clearfiy for those that cant call at the times you suggested. Nvc will answer between 7am and midnight

Hello I noticed we have the same time line but you have to call them for your case number. I got mine already and my case was received on the 4th November so by today yours should be assigned. Good Luck
