Sorry folks for the late post. It's better to be late than never. Our case took 10 months since as it was a DCF from Seoul.

The American embassy in yaounde is pretty gentle with people and their cases, if you have everything right, then expect an approval.

Our interview was on the 20th October, went there with my spouse . The waiting took so long that our inteview.

Saw two white female consulates, one was older and the other lil younger. So the younger one called me over as I walk there with my spouse, she greeted us and took a quick look of our. Photo album, she asked about who prepared the album? We said it was both of us. Then she said we look happy and she would love to enjoy our album but she didn't have enough time.

Interview: what's the name of your spouse, birth date? Where does she lives in the U.S. What did I do in Korea? That was it. The. She started having conversation with us , asking where my spouse live in Cameroon and my spouse did enjoy Living in Cameroon? Then she said ohh congrats you're approved ,gave the yellow paper to pick up the visa a week later. And she continued with her conversation with my spouse, asking how she enjoyed living out of the U.S. And giving my wife some recommendations of foreign restaurants in yaounde.

Well they talked till I was getting bored and so anxious to leave the embassy so as to inform my family about our approval.

To conclude, I'll advice everyone to prepare, bring a lot than to be sorry. The guy that collects documents said " who you guys are so prepared and we responded , it's better to over prepare than to be sorry. Lol.

If you have the right documents and your confident, expect your visa. Don't panic eventhough your nervous.

Good luck everyone .
