Dani&Juli_VE, I'm sorry that youre in this situation, I completely understand how devastating it feels when they throw thsee timeframes out like we haven't already waited long enough. The whole process is unfair, flawed, and inefficient. We pay the price for NVC's mistakes. With that said, I truly hope that you'll have your cc soon. Keep us posted.

Yeah I just can't understand why this process is not being handled efficiently with all the technology availible today. Sending physical copies over mail is absurd these days. There are so many truthful honest marries couples with absolutely nothing to hide, its stupid they make us go over all of this like we are criminals or something. Instead, freaking work visas are approved in a couple of months, and they get their interview with little to no background check.

Im sorry, I just needed to get my anger out! Hahah

we're on supervisor review too.

I just don't know why they put us on supervisor review....

Reading all the replies to this thread it looks like everyone is/ was on supervisor review because they got a checklist and have/had to send missing documents...

I was told a few times that our case is complete and we just have to wait for an interview date.

Very weird.

I am calling them now, 42 days will be over next week. So hopefully I will hear good news today or very soon.

Good Morning Everyone! Checked the CEAC website and it shows the 3 N/A's so I feel like my Case is Complete :joy: . Will call NVC to confirm but I'm so happy that we are finally moving on to the next step... I believe Supervisor Octavio definitely played a part in getting things done otherwise I would be waiting at least an additional 20 days for the documents I resent in to be reviewed. I'm so thankful and grateful for everyone on VJ for sharing your own experiences and helping me to remain hopeful about my case.

Thank you all :)

Hey!!! Good news guys. I got three N/A's this morning... no checklist so far. From what we've read this means our case is complete. I will call tonight to confirm.

Did NVC confirm your case was complete after the three N/A's??? Do you already have an interview date????

Yes, when I called NVC later on the day I saw the 3 N/A's they confirmed my case was complete. So I'm pretty sure yours is complete now as well! Congratulations!!!

Unfortunately no interview yet for us, the wait in Jamaica is about 2-4 months for interview which sucks, but I'm happy that we're at the last stage in the process for my husband to be able to come here, now we're just hoping that we get an interview date soon.

I just got an email from NVC this morning, we're officially case complete!!! Whoooohoooooooo!!! No checklist, just supervisor review after 30 days of nothingness...

Next step is getting the interview date. Do they notify through email or I have to call?

I have a general question – what is the normal processing time between when a packet arrives at NVC and an email confirmation from NVC that they got the papers? We mailed our documents on Dec 18, USPS tracking shows they were delivered on Dec 21, yet we have not heard from NVC. I realize they get hundreds of pieces of mail a day, yet it should not take two weeks to open a packet and send an email. I’d appreciate everyone’s input. Thank you!
