Please Help! NVC says they are missing Docs.

Hi there!

We sent all our docs in end of august, got a message saying "blah blah blah 30 days bla bla bla". End of september and no word, so I called and got informed that they were missing my PC. Which we def sent in. Figure they´ve lost them, sent new ones in. Heard that a supervisor review can take a zillion years, so just sent them in early October.

October 23rd we get the 30 days email again.

November 17th they send us another email that they´ve received our documents.

Since we have sent no further documents, I call and try to sort out this mess.

The only answer we get is that they´ve received new documents. That they need 30 days to review. I´ve got smoke coming out of my ears at this point. So upset, angry and devastated. Only way they´ve received new documents, is if they FOUND the documents they lost to begin with and added it to my file.

Calling every day since Thursday the 19th, trying to get a hold of a supervisor.

Finally today, Wednesday the 25th, we got a hold of a very polite and understanding supervisor (Nicki). She is looking into our case and are also reviewing us for a expedite. She said they will have an answer for us on Monday the 30th. I hope she´s right...

Have been reading a lot online and it seems like this happens to a lot of people. They are losing documents and blaming us poor bastards for their mistakes. The only thing we can do is to submit again and again and again, and keep calling.

Hope Nicki is fixing this for me, and that your case will be sorted soon as well.

Hi lillapigany, thanks for sharing your experience. I'm definitely noticing a trend of missing docs that were actually sent in. I called again today and was told that my docs are being reviewed the original ones that were sent. I did resend docs as well those are due for delivery on Friday. So once again I confirmed that there will be two reviews going on with my docs and whichever is completed first will have the ability to complete and close my case and move us on to next step waiting for irnterview. I hope Supervisor Nicki will have yours sorted out by Monday. Please keep me posted. Thanks again.

Hello again!

First of all, I need to apologize for my poorly written message last week. English is *obviously* not my first language, and i have a small child that makes it impossible to sit down and do something for more than 2 minutes.

Second of all.... BAM! CC at the NVC since November 27th, only 2 days after we managed to get a hold of a supervisor.

my thoughts to you is to re send the documents, wait the 30 days and then call, call, call until you get a hold of a supervisor. Since I´m swedish and quite direct and outspoken, I had my husband make the calls. He is so polite and likable, while I probably would have had a breakdown in the phone.

So, keep calling and remember this will soon be over!

Hi lillapigany, Congratulations!!! so happy Nicki was able to come through and get your cc!!!! Hoping that either supervisor Octavio our the DR department will review our docs and have a case complete sooner rather than later! Just want to be done with NVC at this point. Congrats again and hopefully you'll have smooth sailing from here on out

Checked the CEAC site this morning and got my 3 N/A's looks like CC, will call NVC to confirm but I'm so excited that it seems like case is moving forward to next step !!! Seems like supervisor Octavio was able to get things done sooner rather than later and I'm so very thankful because if he didn't I would've been waiting at least another 20 days for the docs I resent in to be reviewed. I'm so very happy!!!
