Hi All,

I am a little worried about the interview.

I had 2 questions. I will really appreciate if y'all can help answer the below:

1. In the interview letter, it asks to carry 2 additional passport size photographs. At the interview, did they actually take the passport photos?

2. They gave an envelope at the end of the interview. Is that envelope supposed to be sealed?? Cause the one we got is NOT sealed...

I am extremely worried. Will really appreciate any help. Thank you

Nancy8887,

My suggestion

1. This doesn't sound critical. They may or may not ask for pictures. If you are approved you may hear the same at your PoE where they may ask for additional photograph

2. This sounds critical. The envelop is supposed to be sealed and that's how (sealed) you are supposed to hand it over to the immigration officer (at point of entry to USA). As this isn't sealed you should immidirely contact the embassy. Explain how you received the package. Don't open it any further and look inside.

Good luck

Thank you for the input hellraiser.

So, they provide the sealed envelope and the passport together after the visa is issued correct? you pick up both together from salmon center?

Yes. That is correct. You get your passport stamped with the visa and anse ales envelop. I really don't k ow what's inside, but I guess all the papers that the Immigration Officer needs to process your entry at the POE (point of entry).

And yes, you collect both from Saimon Center (guessing you are in Dhaka and that's your pick up location). Again if te envelop is NOT sealed, contact the embassy ASAP stating your situation. Mistakes can happen from any side and if there was a mistake from embassy (if there was) let them correct it.

Best wishes.
