K1 administrative processing

Hello guys,

My fiancée had her interview in Lagos on October 16 and her visa was approved.she was given a pick up letter and she was instructed to submit a national population commission birth certificate instead of court affidavit.the VO told her she can go and pick her passport 10days after submitting her birth certificate.she submitted the birth certificate on the 27th oct. but her visa status still showing administrative processing up till this moment.is the a normal routine or something else is going on.

i am also facing problem bro my interview date was 27 aug 2015 and status were update now last 18 nov my case status was ready then it was open then again in administrative process and today it was again ready now changed to administrative process i hope u will get your visa also pray for me let see what happened tomorrow what my status show i hope it will issue but bro u have to b patient till 6 month hopefull it will b done in 3 months

Hello everyone i really didn't know if here is the right forum but i decided to since its says Administrative processing. My wife had her interview at the lagos embassy on 0ct 29th 2015 and was approved .did a CRBA of our new born on Nov 9th 2015 after which she returned her passport. But till this date on the ceac website it still states administrative processing. I have emailed several times to the embassy for reasons for the delay but to no avail. I have read about administrative processing and I'm so terrified of how long this process takes even as long time 1yr.pleasehas anyone been in this situation before and offer any kind of help. I'm a wreck right now and i was hoping i will get to meet our new born by this xmas but seems unlikely at this point. What can i do?

Hey all, its day 5 for A.P. for me.

Im wondering what you guys see when you check the status using your DS160 confirmation number. Mine shows "No Status" with the date of the day we filled it out. When I put my NVC case number I get "Administrative Processing" with the interview date on there last.

You have to call the US Embassy in Lagos they will give you updates and also you need to be patient. ? Goodluck
