Hello all, I have a couple questions and I looked everywhere but couldn't find any answers. The questions are about packet 3

When the embassy ask me to fill out DS 160 and send documents to the embassy, can I send a scanned copy of I-134 and give the original at the interview? Problem is it will take a little time to gather the required docs and shipping and I want to submit it as soon as I am asked to do so.

If they have to be original, should I wait for the to arrive to fill out DS 160 or could I fill out the DS 160 as soon as I could and submit the I-134 with other documents at a later date, say after 20 days?

Submit your DS-160 asap after the packet 3.5 and mailed all the supporting documents including original signed copy of I-134. Make sure your supporting documents are very powerful and not 'If' and 'Buts'. Instead of waiting for supporting documents to arrive at your address and then send to embassy you can send your set of documents to your fiance and have her send all the supporting documents (yours + hers) via express mail to US embassy Islamabad. Better be late then sorry and regretting there after.

sending the documents to her will take even more time. My case say in transit now so it will be a few days before it reaches the embassy. I have all the other documents ready except the I-134 and employer letter. I guess what I meant to say is whether it will be ok if I send these documents to the embassy a few days after we submit the DS-160?

Yes. I sent mine two almost two weeks after I submit the DS 160. Just make sure to include DS 160 visa application confirmation page with your package.

Oh my god thank you so much. I was freaking out about so many 'what ifs'. We are trying to minimize the gap but knowing its ok to have a few days apart is a big relief. And I will keep the DS 160 in mind.
