My wife was approved for the I-485 with no interview! They are mailing instructions. Does anyone know what we will have to do next? Does the Greencard get sent automatically in the mail or will she have to go for an appointment to get it done?

USCIS case status:

On November 13, 2015, we approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXX. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Hi everyone - appreciate all the help offered on these forums! I though I'd post under this thread as I'm potentially facing a similar situation and wanted to do a sense-check.

We filed I-485 with I-765 and I-131 after getting married (with K-1) in September. NOA-1 date for all three is October 1st 2015 (less than 2 months ago). Did biometrics in late October.

Yesterday the I-485 status changed to "Card in Production" and today I got "Case was Approved". Meanwhile the I-765 changed to "Case Terminated - Benefit Received by Other Means".

Does this mean the GC was straight-up approved, in less than 2 months, without an interview? Just seems too good to be true! Also we live in NYC, which based on the timelines here appears to have an AOS processing time of close to a year!

I'm doing my best not to get my hopes up that this is "the real thing" and we're actually done. Would appreciate a sense-check!

Just wanted to write and confirm that my green card turned up today - pretty much exactly 2 months after dropping off the AOS forms at the post office...which is pretty crazy - I just can't believe our luck!

Thanks to everyone on this forum for being such a fantastic resource throughout this process!
