Embassy Christmas working?

Does anyone have any info on whether the Embassy carry out interviews throughout the Christmas period? I've found some opening times info on the website but wondered if the opening applies to interviews or do they run a skeleton staff for emergencies only?

Looking at the most recent data, though it is a couple of weeks ago, it's averaging around 5-6 weeks from the medical, I assume that's including the time to get bloods back to Knightsbridge & sent to the Embassy. If that is the case then I could be looking at the last 2 weeks of December/1st week of January for interview.

Like most workplaces, people take vacation days around Christmas. So while not closed except Dec 25, 28, Jan 1, the staff might be thin and thus interviews, visa printing, case processing, etc could be slower than normal.

We have just found out that our interview is on December 21st. I went for the medical on 13th November.

Cool, thanks for that. I reckon the results should have hit the embassy about the same time as yours, maybe a couple of days after?
