Hello everyone
Hope everyone is doing well, my interview date is well 8 days away. I have been searching online about the type of questions they ask, and it also includes questions like: "who wakes up first" what’s your birth control method; who cleans the house? What day is your garbage picked up?"
My problem is this that I’m a Muslim, and we just had our nikkah done (legalized license marriage) but there was no "consummation of marriage" yet. Our "ruksatti" (my dad will finally “give me away”) meaning I’ll finally start living with him when I get my visa and he will come here for the final big event and then I’ll go live with him in USA. My question is do I tell the consular’s about this situation that we will live after we get the visa? Since this is a very regular thing for Pakistani and Muslim people. Will they already know about it; and not gasp when I tell them that we don’t need birth control yet?
Or should I just answer all these questions just like that, because technically we are legally married, (so I won’t be lying about the status of our marriage) and we are in love, and it’s a real marriage it’s just that we haven’t lived with each other yet? because of religious issues.
And also please feel free to post what type of questions did other members of this community got from the consulars?

The IOs are conversant with the traditions and customs of their host countries. So, just be straight forward and be as detailed as possible and you will be fine.
