did you ask immigration to apply for SS card on the immigration form?

I can only tell you we did and SS card came in 10 days and green card came exactly 1 month from the POE

Hope yours goes this fast as my husband already has a decent job and he is he is here now since Sept 5th

We're here 2 months now still no gc,and the receipt number they gave me didn't work...

Yes we did apply for the ss card during the ds260

How did you get a reciept number? I paid my husband's fee but never recieved a reciept number. ANy idea how to get one?

Called USCIS then they gave me that ioe#,keep checking but still didn't work been over 2 months now still no gc..
